I appreciate that the bed came so efficiently packaged; the instructions were straightforward; the supplies were all there, including an extra of each bolt, washer, and allen wrench. However, where the frame attaches to the foot and head, there’s a big flaw. It uses one long bolt (good) and in the second hole, calls for putting two different size bolts in opposite sides of the hole (bad.) Neither has anything to thread into. This second hole needs a long bolt, washers, and a nut. I’m currently relying on the one long bolt in each leg to keep it all together. I don’t think my older child is going to get too wild and break the bed, but if I had younger, busier children using the bed, I’d definitely be concerned about its ability to stay intact. I think I can pick up what I need to fix it at Home Depot but it’s an annoying oversight in the design. ... show more

Anyone plus sized knows to look at the weigh capacity when buying furniture. I'm 5'8 and over 200lbs so I needed something high and sterdy. I may get some risers because I want to store a good amount under the bed but without them it's a good height. I slept on it for the first time last night and felt secure. My only negative is that some of the headboard had dents in it but I don't blame the manufacturer for that. Good deal for the price. ... show more

I am in love with the metal design and found everything slid together perfectly my queen 8 inch memory foam mattress fits like a glove.
