I have not had a full Face helmet in over 20 years so I was sceptical about the venting keeping my head Cool as I live in a very hot and humid climate (Philippines). It runs small. My cowboy/ working cattle hats are a 6 3/4 - 6 7/8. I've always worn a medium helmet. According to their charts, I should wear an extra small. No way. This medium was very snug. It borders on hard to get on. Every time I try it on in hopes of keeping it, every time I decide nope. Other than that, it's everything I was wanting in a helmet. DOT & ECE. I like the placement and function of the lever for the sun shield. I like everything about it. Except the size. Most likely exchange it. ... show more

This 2022 i90 fits more snugly that the i90 I purchased in 2020. There appears to be more interior padding, which reduces the interior width for my head. This is for same size (L). The rubber piece in the front of the nose does an excellent job of preventing fogging but just barely touches my nose. All this is likely adjustable. For the price you really can't beat this helmet. Like 200 bucks and it's a flip up. Fits perfect for my pumpkin head. Comfortable! Nice visibility through shield optically perfect! But it's a little loud at speed. Not a perfect world!

Good quality helmet, it does run small, my suggestion is get one size larger than your usual. When closed, it does not look like a modular helmet.

This is my second HJC modular helmet. I wore the previous model (IS-Max II) for 5 years and thought it was a very good helmet until I ordered the i90. I’m very impressed with the improvements that were made. The fit and finish is very much improved. Everything about it is better than the last model. The padding inside is better, the drop down goggles have different settings and can drop way down to help minimize road glare, the face shield feels more precise and has tabs on both sides, and It is a lot quieter than the previous model (about 80% less wind noise).
