Let me start off by saying that all the reviews that are saying that they had to put extra holes in the frame are people who cannot read and have literally never built anything in their life. The directions so are straight forward and easy that a 2 year old could read it. My very first frame for my old bed was translated from Chinese and we couldn’t rely on it. This new frame is nothing like that. My boyfriend and I took about 2 hours to assemble it. It looks elegant and I am more than pleased. I highly recommend. Read the directions and you won’t have to put any extra holes. Oh and use a power drill to save your hand. The screws are tight, but that’s what I would want for a bed. My old one wasn’t and my bed would end up squeaking after a while. That’s all, I recommend! ... show more

Arrived in tact. Is HEAVY and had to carry it up three flights of stairs so if that's also you, grab some friends! Instructions pretty easy to understand and assembly easy. They provide the tools and labeled materials which was super. Was appreciative of how the slats mounted as we've had other beds that the minute you fit one in, the others popped out. These were easy and stayed put. The bed looks pretty. Seems study. The mattress fit well on the frame. The underbed shelves are useful but are the least study thing about the bed. It was sort of complicated to put together but as far as beds go, not too bad. There are a lot of parts! Just follow the instructions. Ultimately I regret buying this. The "gold brass" color of the metal frame is more of an ochre or dijon mustard color than gold or brass. This would be cool if you were going for a deep yellow orche / mustard tone in your color palette but it clashes with the rest of my decor. I'm also kind of mad the food board doesn't come up over the foot of the mattress, I wish it was taller. I wish there were more options for full sized bed frames with art deco upholstered tufted headboards and footboards with vertical piping, and drawers on the side. ... show more

I was skeptical about buying a bed on Amazon but I really love this bed. I bought the black version. It took about 2.5 hours to assemble by myself, so I’d recommend building it with someone else if you can. I made sure to follow the directions exactly, and to tighten all the screws tightly. Therefore it’s very solid. The drawers underneath the bed are rather large and exactly what I need for my small space. If you’re on the fence about buying this bed because of some of the reviews, I’m here to tell you that this bed is gorgeous and solid (if you take your time and assemble it correctly). ... show more

I am so disappointed. It was difficult to put together with the way the instructions were written. It just lacked more detailed information. It’s so squeaky and it’s so annoying. I want to return it but I have no clue how to do that and it feels like so much work so I am just going to sell it on local marketplace so I can get my money back and buy a better bed. It’s cute when all put together but unfortunately it’s not very functional and a squeaky bed is not something I can live with. It’s also does not feel very sturdy at all. Alrighty folks here’s an honest review. I’m an engineer in my twenties, part of the demographic that should find this task easy. I’m data driven, so here’s the breakdown: - I was given a one week time span for when they’d deliver the bed… it arrive FIVE DAYS before the start of that window. Super convenient! - This thing is HEAVY. I have a young back and fresh knees, but I can admit that this is a team lift for a reason - Assembly took exactly three hours (I timed it) including a few mess ups here and there - The bed is stable and not squeaky IF AND ONLY IF you assemble it correctly… - Which leads me to my most important point: PAY ATTENTION TO THE DIRECTIONS - Examine the photos in the directions and make sure everything is facing the same way as in the photo - Follow the numbering closely - It does not matter if you think you can do it better, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS (this is admittedly where I went wrong) - The package comes with all the tools you need, but a good amount of muscle is needed to get the screws into the head and foot board - I honestly love this bed!! Plopped my mattress on top and did all sorts of walking, light bouncing, etc testing with no squeaks or weak spots to be heard - I had my doubts, but I highly recommend this!! ... show more
