So, security camera systems can be super cheap (and the quality reflects it), or massively expensive. And, yes, from time to time, you get a bad camera or NVR and you swap it, no big deal. I got this because a client wanted it and I had not dealt with Hiseeu before. I've installed a LOT of security camera systems. This one (the picture) went into an Air BnB with 3 others. The setup is easy - even swapping, adding new cameras, and changing from one identical NVR package to another. The esee app works great. There is definitely a delay in the voice depending on signal strength, it does not always pick up like it should, and the tracking, albeit good, can delay and time out too quickly (again, signal strength can be an issue). You have to get use to the nuances like knowing your phone will override any settings you put into the NVR (like where you manually move the camera is where it will reset its "base" position and the alarms / light you set will be overriden by the phone - so best to use the phone for that while using the NVR to turn up the tracking speed). So, installation: easy. These were a no brainer. Just plug n play. The picture quality: for under $300 - it's good enough to see someone coming up to your door and see their face and honestly, installing this at a home and 3 businesses now - my clients are happy. The wireless signal, is surprisingly good range even through masonite and logs - BUT, like all systems - the more interference, the more delay. The little plastic dealy-ma-bob on top that covers up the reset button - do NOT forget to make sure that is pushed in ALL the way or else it will get stuck in the housing when the camera does a vertical rotation and then it is a nightmare to get it unjammed. This would be my ONLY complaint. The screws are super weak and easily stripped, but that's standard even with some of the higher end systems (that cost into the thousands). Get your own screws - a cheap fix. On mounting, be aware that while it is 360, some folks don't understand that it doesn't spin round and round. The long side of the mount bracket extending beyond the camera is where it stops. Rotation is along the round edge of the mounting bracket, so be sure wherever you mount it, you plan on this for your rotation. Major drawback (maybe Hiseeu sees this and firmware updates their system): it does not have a setting (that I could find), for tracking along the horizontal 360 degree path. So, in the pic, you see that it is against a wall and will track people coming in the door. But, if I were to come up to it on the blind side, it wouldn't know. So, bummer. The cords are more than long enough. The casing is strong enough. And, for under $300 ... I might be adding one of these to my own home system (I have high quality stationary cameras, but did enjoy this tracking option). I dunno if it's "waterproof", although I doubt it, so don't try to mount it directly "in" pouring rain - but not many systems are (and thus far - these systems have withstood the outdoors very well. If waterproofing is an issue, buy an acrylic cover. Get a cheap, clear acrylic dome if that's a concern (with the bottom open for audio). For people wanting decent home tracking with 2-way audio, decent 5 mp graphic quality, tracking, and a recording system - yeah, I was impressed. I'll be recommending this to my clients. After using the Hiseeu security camera system for several months, I can confidently say that it is an excellent investment for anyone looking to keep their property safe and secure.
