Almost plug n play, but not much in the instructions on how to use it with your existing monitor. Once I figured how to use the mouse and wheel I was very pleased with the zoom and scan result. The camera is set to switch to night IR mode and that is where I was disappointed. The camera has several blurr spots that finally got down to one large blur in the middle of the picture. The camera resolution during the day is very sharp and clear, just sort of sucks in the nite mode. My other stationary cameras are nice and clear. If I figure out what is causing the blur I will re-post later on. Otherwise the rest of it is awesome. ... show more

    • Hisseu Removed Camera Passwords

I've been the 30x and 5x Hiseeu cameras for 5 years. They've been semi-reliable. When they work, they work. When they don't, they don't. Some have lasted 3 or 4 years. Some 3 or 4 months. The 30x has functioned and lasted better than the 5x, but it's more expensive. What caused me to change my review was when Hiseeu recently came in and removed all my camera passwords on a firmware update without notifying me or asking my permission on equipment I own. Now, the cameras cannot be password locked. The company gave me some canned response that the cameras now auto-generate a password. I told told them I'm not taking your word for it, prove it. Also, they were missing the point. I didn't want a company 8k miles away controlling my passwords since that has such a stellar track record and wanted to know how to legacy back on the firmware. I also told them that if they didn't get this sorted, I would update my review. They didn't respond after that as if to say, "We really don't care". Now I'm wondering if the company name Hiseeu (I See You) is referring to someone illegally on my property or me. Just something to consider when purchasing Hiseeu products. The camera itself works great. The downside is that the cables it comes with get in the way of installation, unless you have an electrical box or something you can hide it all in. There are three fairly large cables that come out of the bottom (we only use the power one), with really no way to hide them if you're mounting it flush on a wall. ... show more

The camera was nicely packaged, and easy to install. Since I was already using the EseeCloud app with an Onwote 4-camera/DVR system, adding the Hiseeu camera was pretty simple. And wi-fi setup was easy too. The picture quality is good, and I like the zoom feature, and the talk/listen capabilty.

I have been using this company for security cameras for over 8 years. These new cameras I am reviewing have a stationary camera and a 360 degree rotating camera. You can set it to keep an eye on one thing while the other rotates. It has a 2 way communication feature so you can talk to someone on the camera while you are elsewhere. It can also alarm with a loud alarm and will flash white lights as well. Great feature to scare away intruders. The set up is super easy. Just set it up with your phone with the app. It can also be added to an NVR. It has many features high end cameras have and for the price for two cameras it is a great deal. The picture is bright and clear. I highly recommend this camera system and this company. Their customer service is top notch and responsive to your questions. Great deal for the price. ... show more
