    • Hisseu Removed Camera Passwords

I've been the 30x and 5x Hiseeu cameras for 5 years. They've been semi-reliable. When they work, they work. When they don't, they don't. Some have lasted 3 or 4 years. Some 3 or 4 months. The 30x has functioned and lasted better than the 5x, but it's more expensive. What caused me to change my review was when Hiseeu recently came in and removed all my camera passwords on a firmware update without notifying me or asking my permission on equipment I own. Now, the cameras cannot be password locked. The company gave me some canned response that the cameras now auto-generate a password. I told told them I'm not taking your word for it, prove it. Also, they were missing the point. I didn't want a company 8k miles away controlling my passwords since that has such a stellar track record and wanted to know how to legacy back on the firmware. I also told them that if they didn't get this sorted, I would update my review. They didn't respond after that as if to say, "We really don't care". Now I'm wondering if the company name Hiseeu (I See You) is referring to someone illegally on my property or me. Just something to consider when purchasing Hiseeu products. Order Hiseeu 2 pack 2K wireless PTZ camera to increase coverage with existing Hiseeu DVR and very happy with them. Cameras build quality is quite good, sadly units I received had mismatched housing creating uneven seams, no impact to performance or functionality. Video quality is quite good and lights are bright while dual connectivity method provides flexibility when it comes to connecting to your network. I was able to add cameras to existing Hiseeu DVR in a snap, simply power-on camera and wait for it to complete self-check, now in DVR select Camera menu to add camera and it’ll search to locate camera. Once found, selecting camera will automatically configure to connect to your WiFi making it ready to install. Single complain with cameras are the non-removable antennas. ... show more

I have the pair of Hiseeu cameras. They were easy to install, and the quality of the images is great. The tracking is nice, and the light is sufficient. My only complaint is that I wish there was a choice for the power cable If I am going wireless, I do not need the LAN attachment hanging there - especially outside. It just makes for a not clean install unless all of the wiring is from the back, as in wired from an attic. I do have a little concern about longevity. I am in Phoenix, and plastic tends to take a beating here. We'll have to see how it survives next summer. I do have another brand of camera also, but the Hiseeu seem to be superior so far. ... show more

Okay WOW. I’m not gonna lie I did not have high hopes for this camera when I ordered it I have issues with my neighbors and really needed something on the side of my house for the first two weeks we had this we just ran an extension cord but I have recently hired an electrician to drill this and wire this into my home properly. They work extremely well. I am able to pull up the camera footage from live on my Alexa inside the house while I’m in the kitchen or on my phone and tablet when I’m not even home yet bookmarks in motion for me to be able to go right to it. This is a 2 pack of outdoor security cameras that work on 2.4 gHz WiFi only. They do not work on 5G. I have both lines so I was able to easily and seamlessly connect both cameras to my home WiFi. They have tracking ability, the camera will follow an anomaly until it’s out of range, it also has a setting to highlight a human in a square for enhancement. The app is easy to navigate, I had to set up an account as a first time user but it was easy to do. The picture is clear both in color and in infrared. There are two different alarms, the sound alarm and a bright white spotlight. They come with screws and brackets to hang wherever we see fit, however we haven’t hung them yet. We took them out of their boxes to make sure they worked and connected properly. There is also a slot for an SD card for saving videos. We can set it to record and save all day recordings or to only record when there’s an anomaly. The only complaint I have is I would’ve liked it to be hard wired into our electricity in our house. I wanted to mount it at our back door and wire it into the switch right by the door, but it doesn’t have that type of power source. It has a plug, so we have to find a different spot outside that has access to an outdoor outlet and then we have to find a way to hide the power cord otherwise someone can just walk up and unplug it. My husband said it’s not an issue because he can drill a hole through the corner of our garage and put the power cord through it in order to plug it inside the garage. However I still wished it was hard wired, rechargeable or solar powered. The price wasn’t bad for the pack of 2 cameras, could be a little cheaper. The pack does not come with SD cards, those will have to be purchased or taken from another source, separately. UPDATE: We got our cameras installed and hooked up outside however we are not receiving any event notifications. Everything is on both in the app and on our phones, and despite having the push notifications on, neither me or my husband are getting them. Tried contacting their representatives through the Help section but no reply so far, it’s been over an hour. Kind of pointless to have these cameras if we don’t ever receive notifications when someone is around our house. ... show more
