Top Amazon Reviews

  • Some are great, some are questionable
Scent: Orange Size: 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Coming back to this review because the sandalwood is growing on me. It'll only let me do one review even though I ordered several so this reviews isn't just for orange. Orange - smells spot on. It's has a bright vibrate color and is on par with therapeutic grade oils I've bought from high end suppliers. Orange is one of the cheaper oils even from expensive sources. So you can't really go wrong with this one. Bergamot - smells slightly sweeter and I like that, compared to the other suppliers I've bought from. Bergamot is a bright, crisp citrus-like smell. It can come off bitter at times, but this oil has a slight sweetness to it which I enjoy. Vanilla - Slightly powdery but not overwhelming. Sweet. The smell of vanilla does come through nicely in product. If you truly love vanilla, you should like this one. There's a million different type of vanilla fragrance, but if for the most part you tend to like vanilla, I would try this one. I do love the way this oil smells but I question what it really is. Vanilla "essential oil" from other website suppliers labels it as an oleoresin and not a true essential oil. It's also about $40/ half ounce. So considering this one is $10 for 3.38oz, I have to question what this really is or mixed with. My only concerns is because I want to use these oils on my skin. Diluted of course, but I want to know what I'm putting on my skin. Neroli & Ylang Ylang are both very floral. Neroli is slightly fruity in comparison. They're different floral but still very floral. They mix well with other fragrances. These two, but especially the Neroli has me questioning again the composition of the oils. Because Neroli is another one that is usually very expensive, as much as over $50/ half an ounce. Fragrance wise, these are potent, however. Sandalwood -- I'm editing to add that this fragrance is growing on me. It mixes really well with orange, lavender, bergamot, and vanilla from the same company. It is powdery and not a woody scent like I was originally expecting, however I'm starting to appreciate it for what it is. - Original review of Sandalwood: of all these oils, I do not care for this one. It smells powdery and clean but not what I would expect out of sandalwood. I'm used to some synthetic versions and EO blends of sandalwood and have never smelled an expensive pure EO version, but I would expect more wood notes to be present like the synthetic versions I've smelled. Pure Sandalwood EO is another usually extremely expensive oil at over $100 an ounce. So again, I'm questioning this one. I know there's different methods of distillation that play a part in pricing, but some oils are more expensive to produce than others so it's really interesting how all these oils are priced pretty much the same and at such low prices for the quantity. If I have some terrible reaction, I'll update my post, but so far I'm using them on my skin, including my face (in very diluted quantities in other products like carrier oils and balms). Even very diluted quantities the notes come through very well. And I'm enjoying them. ... show more

  • Repeat Purchase for this DIY girly
Scent: Vanilla Size: 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m a DIY kind of girl, very particular about scents, and a sucker for Vanilla. Which means I buy this brands Vanilla essential oil at once every 4-5 months to make my own body sprays. For me, the body spray is 2 parts jojoba oil, at least 1 part Vanilla, and 1/2 part of whatever other scent I want in the bottle, if any. I combine them in a glass cosmetic spray bottle, and use it after showering, between moisturizing with lotion and the final seal of body oil. It lasts an EASY 24 hours. Of the 5 purchases I’ve made, only one was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was sealed incorrectly, or just old. But I wasn’t hesitant on buying another, and that one came back just fine. The only other issue I’ve ever had was the mini dropper. I found that the old ones weren’t as durable as I hoped. The glass would remain in tact but the droppers top would deteriorate and become bloated. My purse and car smelled amazing but that’s not the point. However that seems resolved! I really like the new mini-dropper. The black cap seems a lot sturdier, and is made of a more solid material. It is also bigger!! Which is lovely. I’m very excited to use it. It’ll survive the purse, that’s for sure. Overall, 10/10, highly recommended. Will buy again. ... show more

  • Great essential oils - be wary of people misusing them and then complaining
Scent: Rosemary Size: 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
First off: Essential oils are -NOT- medical treatment for toe fungus, hair loss, "skincare", mental health, mosquito repellent, your burnt holiday dinner, fixing the radiator in your car, etc. anyone complaining about essential oils not functioning as such can and should be ignored. Go to an actual doctor and get a medical plan to treat your medical issues. Also essential oils should -never- be applied undiluted directly to your skin especially if you are already experiencing skin issues or are on a skincare routine that involves acids etc. This all should be common sense but here we are. Now, on to the good stuff. Ive purchased a -significant- variety of oils from this company and they are, undoubtedly, my go to for now. With one exception every scent has been spot on exactly as id expect. Even notably difficult scents like their Helichrysum, Juniper Berry, and Rose were spot on and of a good quality. The exception being Black Pepper which i believe might have been a bottling error (these things happen) and the issue was handled almost immediately and as best as anyone could ask. There's new packaging for the additional dropper and travel bottle they include as well and ive never received a damaged product which is impressive since delivery here tends to launch my packages onto my pourch directly from orbit. If you will apply essential oils to your skin do so through jojoba or castor oil and in appropriate amounts and never to irritated or damaged skin. ... show more

Scent: Tea Tree Size: 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I bought this tea trea oil previously and liked it so bought it again. This time it smells so bad like it's burnt and so strong. Still leaving a good review because it was a good product and s*** happens!
