I bought this clock July 9, 2022 and 2 months later, it quit working. Put in a new battery and it worked 2 days. Maybe the battery wasn’t good, so I put in another new battery and it quit working after 5 days. Just put in another new battery, and it’s working - so far and it’s been 3 days. Keeping my fingers crossed. I hate to keep checking my phone for the time, but this clock is not dependable. Save your money! It’s cheap for a reason! I did give it 5 stars well, because it’s true. Easy to read (a dead clock) and it’s quiet (no sound comes from a dead clock) and the accuracy is consistent (with a dead clock) They should have asked Work consistently ⭐️ **** ... show more

    • Be careful putting in the battery

The battery contacts are flimsy. I nearly broke one trying to put in a battery the first time. I had to very carefully bend it back into place while installing the battery. But the clock is easy to read from my shower and is completely silent. I used this to replace a plug in clock that didn't have a battery back up. Our power is a bit sketchy when it rains and resetting the old one was difficult. Setting this clock is easy peasy in comparison. Pretty easy in absolute terms. My mistake was that I like a larger clock and didn't check that this one is the size I wanted. My bad. The clock is great. Update 2/22/22 I put a Rayovac rechargeable AA on 7/28/21 and really expected to have to put a fresh charged one in before now (rechargeables don't normally have the longevity of good Alkaline batteries) but it's still keeping time. Haven't needed to reset it either. I like this clock. I may look into a larger diameter so it's easier for my old eyes to see without my glasses as I am quite near sighted. I would have upgraded to a 5 star if the battery connections were not so fragile. ... show more

Very standard. I like the fact that it doesn’t tick. Numbers are big enough. Visible enough in low light. One AA battery needed for it to work. A good clock. Bought two more 👍🏽

    • Nice big ,easy to read face.... However...
As in the title; Nice, big easy to read face... but you're not supposed to use alkaline batteries. Instead, it requires "Super, Heavy Duty" (non alkaline batteries). The clock eats them up quickly. I have ordered a clock movement that takes alkaline batteries and as soon as that movement gets here... the original movement is in the trash can. Would I order this clock if I'd known? Nope. Not a chance! Would I recommend this clock? Nope! Not a chance! Update... I ordered a clock movement ‎(Model # TIKROUND-M-031) and replaced the original, which made the original clock kind of expensive. But the new movement works great and snapped right in. Gave up the second hand, which was nice but unnecessary. The new movement takes an alkaline battery, which I prefer. The old movement went through a "heavy duty" non-alkaline in a couple of days. The new movement makes this a very nice clock! ... show more
