I'm impressed with the quality of these wall clocks given how inexpensive they are (especially in the 2 pack). While the clock is lightweight plastic, it looks much more "upscale" than I expected. Granted, as soon as you pick it up you know this is an inexpensive plastic clock, but it looks really nice when hanging on the wall. The sweep second hand is mostly silent. I can hear a low buzz if I stand with my ear next to the clock, but once I get a foot or so away, it's 100% silent (to my ear at least). Since this is a wall clock and not something that will be right up against my ear, I'd say it can accurately be described as silent. The clock face is clear and easy to read at a distance. It does lack minute markings, but I don't find that to be an issue. All in all, a great inexpensive wall clock that looks and works way better than I was expecting given the price. Got them they look wonderful. Very clean and sharp. What suppresses me is how quiet they are. For the price I figured I would hear the typical gears turning but nope.
