My e-bike is from a company that doesn’t seem to have the best business model, and even though everything’s been fine going on 2 years now, I am concerned that they could disappear one day. So when my son wanted to get one, I encouraged him to purchase his e-bike from a company that seemed solid. My friends had purchased a Himiway D3 over 3 years ago and they are still thrilled with it. They have really put it to the test going long distances in all kinds of terrain when they go camping including, sand, mountains, bike trails, and regular roads, as well as pulling a loaded bike trailer. My son’s bike arrived quicker than expected, we may just have gotten lucky. It was really easy for him to put it together, there was a missing accessory item so I contacted the company and it arrived at our front door within two days. My son is so thrilled with his bike and is riding it all over town. It’s sturdy, looks sharp, and gives him a smooth ride. He purchased it during prime days, but even if he had paid full price, I don’t think he could’ve gotten a better bike in this price range. Part 1. I have not unpacked the bike yet but it was received sooner than expected. Also got an email from Himiway about another piece of the order was on backorder. This advance warning was a big help in an upcoming trip and we are able to cover the missing item. I'm excited to assemble the bike and take it on this planned group trip. I will follow up with a part II review after our group trip. Part 2. Completed a rail trail trip with 5 other e bikes and camping gear. The bike was flawless and also handled 65 lbs of camping gear in a trailer. The bike was very comfortable from the start. Range was very good and best of all predictable when planning overnight charging stops. The bike has good handling manners on paved roads, gravel roads, unimproved trails, and beach sand. I think this was a good selection of an affordable ebike. I have had another e Bike (Foldable) and never liked the handling. This bike is like a big comfortable luxury car with surprising handling off road. This bike is a trail rail king. In my unprofessional opinion I would recommend this bike. These are really nice ebikes. The tires are huge. Delivery was fast and assembly was very easy, took me longer then the 20 minutes they said it should take BUT I just took my time. These are very solid bikes. The welds are smooth and clean. These are not small ebikes, these bikes are huge and heavy. But they ride really well and surprisingly fast if you want to go fast. I’ve only had the ebike for 2 weeks & so far everything is great! Smooth ride with the fat tires, nice front and rear brake light, & easy battery removal. The large panel bags are very nice & are easy to remove also. The seat is ok but I will probably change it out, other than that it’s a great Ebike! ... show more

Putting the bike together was very sraight forward. The quality of the components is obvious. Its a smooth ride and I'm anticipating many bike rides to come. Be warned, the 4" tires make this frame ride like a larger bike. A heck of a deal for a great bike! Thank you

After MUCH research, I chose to purchase Himiway's Step-Thru Cruiser eBike via Amazon as the best, currently affordable electric bike with all-around features needed for local cummuting and recreation purposes. Purchasing through Amazon gets the purchaser backing from two companies: Himiway and Amazon Customer Service. This buys you assurance of quality care if anything should go unsatisfactory and gave me a purchasing package that I couldn't straight from Himiway. It is important to track your package. Delivery notice was after-the-fact and box beat up. I was thankful that my purchase came earlier than anticipated but ws left out in the elements that could have been disastrous if rainy. Luckily, Himiway packs the eBike well internally!!! This was my first eBike and was able to put it together through Himiway's help videos with ease, just took my time. Those that are familiar with these sorts of eBikes could most likely put it together in less than an hour. There was an advertised accessory not included and would recommend having zip ties and several washers handy for proper tighting of bolts (for my liking). The Amazon Himiway Customer Service Team is AMAZING! I had notified them about the missing accessory, and they provided me with one of my choice. Additionally they provided other choice assessories for the way that my package was handled/delivered. I've ridden my eBike for about three weeks. It is everything advertised and more!!! I bought my himiway bike with the cover two weeks ago and it arrived two days ago. After riding no more that 10 miles my pedal went flying off!! I tried to attach it again but found that the place where the pedal attached to is completely wallowed out.
