For the price this is not a bad bike. It's a steel frame. The bottom bracket is actually a cartridge sealed bearings. So that's good. The crank set not so good. But easy to switch out with a different square tapered crank set. The rear wheel is three crossways laced and is a freewheel not a fixed gear. The front wheel is radio laced. Brakes are not bad at all they are durable and they do stop. The seat is absolutely horrible. Overall it's a good single speed bike. And a good start project if you want to make it better. And get rid of some of them cheap parts. ... show more

So far, so good. Easy assembly with tools provided. Seems like a quality hybrid bike for the price. Rides well with a very light aluminum frame. One downside is a very uncomfortable seat which I have already replaced. Another is no kick stand.

After riding a mountain bike for the last 3 years going to this hybrid has been great. Bike came 85% assembled and was very easy to put together. I do wish however that the instructions were a little better. Would be nice to know how to raise the handle bars even if they can be raised. The only item I might change is the seat to something a little more comfortable. I am 69 and got the 49 size and it works great. I usually ride about 10 miles a day sometimes more (weather permitting). Looking forward to a lot of riding this summer with the new bike ... show more

DISCLAIMER: I’m willing to get my hands dirty and I feel like common sense gets me through tasks that Ive never done before. So take this information how you will and this is my experience with my bike. I’ll update if there’s anything else that stands out. -Received my first online bike purchase, sooner than the date they projected. -I had to assemble everything! The handle bar, bike seat, adjust brakes for the bike, attach the wheels, everything! -They gave you a little tool set to set everything up on the bike! -There’s instructions for setting everything up, but not a lot of illustrations. -Would recommend using YouTube for a better gist of what you ACTUALLY need to do to attach the hard parts of the bike. (Like the handle) -2 hours setting up the bike. I love it and it’s a smooth ride. -You have to purchase your own bike pump and it HAS TO BE ONE FOR THE PRESTA VALVE. It’s not a regular bike nozzle you can use. Luckily I bought one that had the nozzle for the PRESTA VALVE. ... show more
