I got a red one for my 8 week old Afghan Hound puppy. Martingales are a must for Afghans! It looked so big! But it fit fine. Has been easy to adjust. He is now 11 weeks old, and I will be getting a bigger collar, same brand and same color, soon. Very pleased with the quality!

I've been a fan of martingale collars for years. This one was surprisingly nice for the price. I like the buckle clasp and it has just enough loop/restraint so the collar doesn't slip off the head. Martingale-type collars are also helpful for new dog training - if you move the collar to the back of the ears towards the top of the head you have more control over an excited dog. I gave this collar 4 stars due to the quality of the product. The collar is sturdy, reflective and attractive. I ordered the red one and the color is very nice. I recently adopted an English Springer Spaniel who is only 40 pounds but is very strong and pulls on the leash. I was told by my trainer to get a Martingale collar.
