  • Great car camping pad
Size: Medium Style: Navy Pumpsack
I have used this on numerous trips (probably ~40 nights in total over the course of 1.5 years) for car camping and it's been well worth it and still going strong without any leaks. It rolls down to the width of a Nalgene bottle and the height of 1.5 Nalgenes. I can easily fit this in my carry-on when I travel. It is quite heavy but I use this for car camping. I primarily use it in my Rav4 where it fits well and gets rid of all the bumps in the back (even right over my trunk raised floor mats). I've put it in a few different rental car models too; the length makes it propped up on one end if you're in a compact SUV but it still works for me since the portion that's propped up just replaces my pillow. I have the version with the pumpsack and the pumpsack is easy to use. I keep the pumpsack attached 100% of the time so I don't lose it/the attachment point doesn't wear down. It does take a little bit of time when you're inflating the pad from the fully deflated state (about 3-4 mins) but I like that this is a non-electrical/battery dependent option. In the mornings, I deflate it halfway and that allows me to fold it into the trunk, cover up my bags, and put the rear seats back up. Overall I would buy this again and recommend it to people getting into car camping. ... show more

  • Works great in combination with self-inflating foam pads
Size: Large Style: Navy Pumpsack
My wife and I have been using Coleman queen-size airbeds for years, first in tents, then in our van campers. We've slept very comfortably on them, but we've gone through a lot of them as they've developed leaks and other problems. At least two trips have been made very uncomfortable by airbed failures. After the most recent of them, I decided I wanted to find a different solution. First I tried self-inflating memory foam pads stacked on top of plain memory foam sleeping pads, giving a total thickness of 4-5 inches. My thinking was that, even if the self-inflating pads sprung a leak, we would still be tolerably comfortable for the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, my wife found the combination to be quite uncomfortable. We experimented with varying degrees of inflation and found something that she could sleep on, but it was clear that it wasn't a great solution. I decided that a thin airbed on top of the self-inflating pads might give us the right combination of firmness adjustability and insurance against having no pad at all in the event of a puncture. After looking at all the options available, I settled on this. It seemed like it would be durable, it fit the available space well, and it was a good thickness. We tried out the combination on a recent two-night camping trip and my wife gave it her stamp of approval. We'll have ample time to test it more thoroughly on a 3-4 week trip we're leaving on shortly. The material the airbed is constructed of is very light weight - a distinct advantage when storing or carrying it, but a little worrying as far as durability is concerned. On the plus side, the vinyl is reinforced with lightweight fabric, but I can't tell what it is - nylon or other synthetic, woven or non-woven. The manufacturer is very vague about the material. I hope it's adequately puncture-resistant. The other problem we've had with the Coleman products is with the 'coils' that connect the top and bottom membranes coming loose, resulting in giant and expanding tumors developing in the airbed. I hope that the construction of this airbed will be effective in preventing that kind of failure too, but only time will tell. This airbed is about double the cost of the Coleman, so I hope it lasts at least as long. ... show more

  • Big Improvement but Not Top of the Line
Size: Medium Style: Navy Pumpsack
I've had this sleeping pad for over a year now and used it for camping as well as family sleepovers at home. It is definitely an improvement to the pads I used previously SEMOO Self-Inflating Camping Sleeping Pads Lightweight Comfort 1.2 Inch. It's thicker, provides decent insulation from the cold and ground, and packs down to a better size. However, the inflation process for the version without a foot pump can be laborious. It takes a good amount of time to get it to the desired firmness. However considering it held up too 2 toddlers rolling around and running over it, camping trips, and folks of various sizes sleeping on it, I'd say it's worth the investment. ... show more

  • Fits us all
Size: Large Style: Navy Pumpsack
Bought this on a whim and last minute search for a camping trip in Yellowstone and Grand Teton and it was so much better than sleeping on the ground. I wasn't stiff. And I weigh 220. Shared it with my wife and toddler son. The pump sack saves your breath but not your patience. They have a pump but was back order at the time. It was a good buy. Saved from packing a bunch of old blankets and laying on those instead of covering up with them. It gets chilly in mountains Mornings ... show more

  • Nice alternative to prevent bedsores
Size: Medium Style: Navy Foot Pump
I take care of my elderly mother i wanted to try to get her something for her bed with a bit of cushion between her and the mattress to help prevent bedsores. I purchased the one with the foot pump. It took me a minute to figure it out, but you literally have to put your foot over the hole of the pump, kind of acts as a bit of suction and helps push the air inside of the mattress and i was able to blow up in about three minutes or so prior to that I was struggling because I couldn’t really figure out how exactly the footpad worked, after getting it up and getting my mom on it she has been sleeping like a baby. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to a foam mattress. I’ve had it up for several days now and it’s still firm. ... show more

  • Great for camping
Size: Large Style: Navy Pumpsack
My partner and I tried several different camping mats and this was the winner! Inflating it takes a little time, but we slept on it 2 nights and didn't need to re-inflate. I like how easy it is to pack up and transport too. We also stayed warm which I wasn't expecting with such a light mat. Great for this price point. ... show more
