Very sturdy and easy to assemble. 1 x 2 fits snug and have retention so they stay in, though will easily pull out to replace. Really like that when set to 18" the other slot is at 12". Works well fits 2x1's purchased at Lowes to mount targets. Easy to change width to fit different size targets. Made 4 stacks to ensure targets did not blow over. Good value!

    • Inexpensive but sturdy
Needed something to keep steel spinner targets upright in the non-existent soil of the desert. This should do the trick - the shafts on the spinners can protrude through the bottom of the stand uprights, and the uprights are tall enough to prevent the spinner from tipping over backwards. The adjustability of the uprights allows it to fit just about any spinner target. The wing bolt holding the frame together looks easy to lose, though. ... show more

Gets the job done and is an effective and simple target setup solution. With the use of office style binder clips and your own supplied 1x2 boards, everything that is at risk of being damaged by gunfire is replaceable and cheap.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Well packaged, nicely finished, easily adjustable. Extremely durable. Unfortunately, my FIRST TIME out, some yahoo shot a rifle round through the base making this no longer adjustable. I tried to repair it but the metal is so strong I can’t get it to budge with typical household tools. So, I do love this stand and I will keep it and have to settle on it’s now permanent width. This stand base results in a lightweight, portable shooting target, once the 1x2s are added. It’s adjustable and also come with clips to attach cardboard to the 1x2 uprights. I really like this stand. Plus the box it comes in provides two cardboard silhouettes, so I’m all set by just adding the 1x2s and cutting up the box. ... show more

    • Needed a replacement but it worked out in the end
Took this to some BLM land here in California and when setting up the stand for the first time, a welded on bolt broke off with no force at all. There is a bolt that you tighten with a wing nut to adjust the width. After finger tight the wing nut, the bolt broke off. It was only welded on with a few beads that were poorly tacked on. The stand still worked for the day but I did box it back up and returned it for a replacement. The replacement seems to be welded a lot better and should last longer. I would recommend setting it up before you head to the range to make sure its sturdy and will not break on you. ... show more
