Great quality and beauty for a great price! Following cataract surgery I wanted a half frame reader that I could easily see over the top of for distance vision while I was using my cell phone or reading. These fit the bill. I love the diamond edging on the lenses which adds both character and glam, while the sleek styling of the acrylic bows and metal trim give these glasses a very classy look. As to functionality, the lenses are clear and accurate and the frames are sturdily constructed - heavier than expected, but not uncomfortable to wear. The spring hinges are a good quality and the metal bridge and nose pads are securely attached using screws (see photo). These are so much nicer than I expected for the cost, and outshine all the plastic readers I've picked up for the same price at drug stores and supermarkets. I like frameless glasses in theory, but in my experience, they can’t handle much abuse…at least not the inexpensive reading glasses I buy online! These are not the cheapest, but I have definitely paid more for worse! They feel surprisingly sturdy and rigid, and the spring hinges keep them on securely and comfortably without pinching my fairly average-sized head. However, the metal ear pieces are bendable enough that I was easily able to adjust the angle of the earpieces to accommodate my not-level ears, but don’t seem likely to easily bend accidentally. I usually wear sturdy, frumpy, cheap glasses when working my rough job, since they get destroyed anyway, but I wanted something nicer for going out, and these look classy. I wasn’t quite sure what color the ear pieces would be, as the Amazon listing was unclear, but these are the silver metal version, and they came with black ear pieces, which suits me fine. I actually really hate separate ‘floating’ nose pads, as they get caught in my hair when I shove them up onto my head, but I am hoping that I won’t need to for dressy occasions. They were shipped in just a thick paper envelope, but they were inside their hard clamshell case, so they arrived in good condition. These glasses are very nice looking and durable. I like the quality and seem to fit very well. The glasses come with a nice case, cleaning cloth, and box. I would definitely recommend these glasses to anyone. The price was worth it!

I bought these glasses because I needed to increase my strength. I was looking for another pair of rimless reading glasses that also blocked blue light and were lightweight. These look great but they are not lightweight (in comparison to two other pairs I have) and they slide down my nose constantly.
