I’m the type of person who HATES saunas or anything that makes me hot. I wasn’t sure I’d like this sauna blanket but wanted to give it a shot as I’m healing from a mold illness. Let me just say, this is nothing like a normal sauna. Your head sticks out and you can actually breath normal temperature air all while your body receives the same benefits from a traditional sauna. I started on level 6 and legit felt high asf just like the taglines says. I wouldn’t shut up about it and so my partner decided to give it a try as well, looking to prove me wrong, but turns out they experienced the same exact “high” that I felt. It’s incredible. I’ve done with and without the insert, I prefer using it and turning it up to level 7. Let it preheat, get in, and stay in until the 10 min remaining warning bell or a little after. Then take a freezing cold shower afterward to cool down. It does slightly affect my sleep if I don’t properly cool down, and I have a history of insomnia. At any rate, I absolutely love how I feel using this blanket, and so appreciate the extra steps the company went to ensure low emf and less toxic materials. That’s why I spent a premium and have zero regrets. I’ve recommended to a few friends and family members as well. It really helps with sore joints and arthritis. There are so many benefits, but if you’re on the fence, just get it. One piece of feedback, I’m 6’2” and wish there was an extender or slightly longer option.     • Game changer!
We recently purchased the Higher Dose Blanket after hearing about the benefits of Infrared for the last few years. I am typically skeptical of things like this but after battling joint pain for the last few years I decided was willing to give it a shot. And I could not be happier! It arrived rather quickly and with great tips and suggestions. It folds up and stores very easily as well. These things are great, but the other benefits are even better! My husband and I both workout quite a bit and I can honestly say, we both agree, that using the blanket after a workout has definitely sped up muscle recovery. I have also been battling arthritis pain in my knees and hips and whenever I am in the blanket, I get so much relief. I used to lay under electric blankets all the time but that never helped very much. On top of all this, it is so relaxing. The minute I get under it, I feel like I could fall asleep right away. The sauna blanket is a complete game changer. We do a lot of camping and even plan to bring it with us! ... show more

    • It’s ok for me
I have a lot of difficulty sweating so I got this to help with overall detoxification. However, I think I have it set to the highest level (8) not sure bc it says “A” on the indicator, and that barely gets me sweating after an hour. I’m 5’8 and I find that I don’t sweat as much if I don’t the blanket up to my neck, but the blanket isn’t long enough so it hurts my feet after a while bc they’re being pushed down at the bottom. The blanket also automatically shuts off after 45 mins I think, and I barely get sweating at 40 and it has no indication that it’s going to shut off. It takes quite some time to warm up and that takes time off your session in there. Sometimes I doze off and realize it’s been off for half of my session. I’m sure someone that sweats easily would get more out of this, but I’m a bit disappointed. Also get the towel. I didn’t I’m just using my own, but I need a towel top and bottom bc certain areas will burn your skin. ... show more

I purchased this sauna blanket as a way to test the idea of regular sauna use without buying a stand alone sauna. What I like is it heats up fast. I put it on 8 and use it for 40 minutes. I listen to 40hz meditation music. I have used it about 3x a week since purchasing it and feel that it aid my circulation and overall mood. It is pricey but I am glad I bought it. ... show more

I absolutely love my Higher Dose blanket. With COVID, I have been more wary of public sauna experiences. A friend recommended this blanket and having it has made it so much easier to get a sweat going in the comfort of my own home. It heats up fast and I start to sweat quickly once I’m inside. The blanket is very easy to get in and out of too. I usually lay in bed with it and put on a show so that the time passes quickly.     • Amazing at home heat therapy
I know this is expensive, but if you think you're going to use it even semi regularly, it's worth it. I used to go to a 'sweat lodge' that uses these blankets that costs $60 per session. Obviously theirs are more commercial, but I'd argue the sweat is exactly the same. We've used it more than ten times, which means we've already more than saved our money for the exact same thing. I do recommend getting plastic liners to line the inside. Not only does it help you sweat, but it provides the easiest clean up ever.
