My roommate installed this in a couple minutes on my Hunter Phantom 150cc (unknown make, 2001 Chinese scooter GY6). Although we just ripped off all the fairings and everything street legal because we are turning it into an off-road toy, the little we did test it on the street I could tell at least the initial take off was noticeable beefier and faster. The original CDI, plug, and boot coil mind you were completely stock as far as we know, so I'm sure any replacement would've produced better results but these new parts certainly were worth the money. Bought this for a DONGFANG 2017 scooter. Added about 5 mph to it. Great buy I just wish it said clearly that it would fit this because it was a total guessing game.

bought as spare parts for a breakdown kit. tests show no difference from stock, but i'm not racing so who cares? IF the coil doesn't work, reverse the leads.

I installed this on my 50cc Taotao renegade scooter. It started once. Then would not start until I swapped back to the stock cdi. I will be searching for another option.
