Direct fit on a 50cc TaoTao. Easy to install and performed as expected. Great value for the money. I didn't see much difference in speed, maybe 2-3 mph increase. Throw the spark plug out and get a name brand, the one that come with the kit works but is not a "Performance" plug. Just looks cool

    • Missing coil cable :( CDI box was defective? Maybe. Didn’t run after install
I didn’t even receive the orange performance cable/coil wire :( Also when I DID install the CDI box, my scooter would no longer run (wouldn’t even start) so I had to reinstall the old original box which kinda sucked because I was excited about making my scooter faster. As far as the spark plug, you can tell that it is low quality :( just by looking at it. The electrode was not straight at ALL/bent/crooked and I didn’t even install it. Theres obviously NO WAY that it was going to produce an even/strong spark being it was bent the way it was. Clearly the gap was going to be off :( ... show more

Not the correct coil for rfz apollo 125cc. Seems great, seen them do great things on other bikes though so won't bash the product at all. Rounded corner style connectors on this product, very squared corners on the apollos factory harness. Also igniter coil has different ground connector style.

The coil and spark plug worked great as they should, but i could not get spark when using the cdi box, got a new one, same thing. The problem might still be a bad cdi box or my system is just not meant for it. Be careful what you buy!!! Update: bought a different cdi box now good…

Made my rev higher and now I don't have to hold but 3/4 throttle. Does make it run better and I was a disclaimer. Works with ac scooters only. Don't know how long it will last but it is well built and does as advertised. Works with my lights and all. Takes off better without bogging and jerking now. Even idles better without surge. I'm satisfied as long as it lasts me for a few years. ... show more

Now I can keep up with traffic better coming off a red light and I don't lose top speed but by a mile an hour. Shifts later for maximum take off.
