As a truck driver, my truck shakes alot from the weight of my trailer and load, also from common potholes. I love this mount because it's sturdy, clean and easy to mount. However, with vibration from driving, my switch kept vibrating out of the mount. It's designed for home not mobile, so I used a tap and die kit to put a threaded hole in the corner of the mount and use a small set screw that goes through the mount and into my switch base to keep it locked in the mount while I'm driving. With the thought that you can use this mount in a tractor trailer, an RV, mobile homes/campers, etc, if they could mount a lock for the device in the mount, that would be great. My design works but not everyone is going to want to put a threaded hole into their switch base or xbox etc. You can see how I did it in the pictures. Overall, it's still worth 5 stars. ... show more

If you are looking to hide your console behind your TV or just want to mount on the wall, I would recommend this one. This particular mount has between the dock and backplate of the mount to allow cords to pass between which was one of the reasons I went with this one. Easy to install. Mount is extremely sturdy and heavy duty. Made of thick strong metal no worry about this thing ever failing. Includes mounting hardware. only downfall is it doesnt hold the dock super tight so if you hit it from the side it can slide out. I added a piece of soft side velcro to the bottom to keep the switch dock in place a little more securely. Double sided tape should do the trick as well ... show more

It is extremely easy to install. From leveling to screwing it is mess up proof. Most important it looks great while mounted on the wall. There is an outer slot on the back so you’re able to store smaller wires.

Overall I really like the mount, but the one thing I'm not crazy about is the Switch mount just slides into it, and isn't actually secured into the wall mount. There is a stop on the right side to prevent it from sliding all the way through, but I would feel better if there was something added to the left side to prevent it from sliding back out that way. This looks and holds up very nicely! There were reviews that the console dock fits a little loosely in the mount, which is true, but that is minimal and likely helps prevent damage when inserting the console dock into the mount. As long as you don't have someone hanging from this thing, it will hold the console dock securely without issue. There is plenty of room in the back of the mount for you to run the HDMI and power cable out the left side of the mount without overstepping the cables, which is awesome! And getting this console off the shelf and onto the wall opens up so much room. ... show more
