I've wanted a countertop ice-maker for some time, and I'm in love with this little unit! It makes ice very quickly, but you'll have to transfer it to your freezer as soon as it drops, as the unit does not keep the ice frozen - it just recycles the melted ice back into the machine to make new ice if you don't transfer it out. I love that you can fill the reservoir with other liquids (coffee is my favorite), and then just do the self-clean mode and run some water through it to clean out the taste of whatever other liquid you freeze. It isn't too loud and hardly takes up any room on my counter - about the same size as my dual brew coffeemaker.     • Works Great & Looks Nice!
This ice machine works great. I love that it looks so nice and that I can leave it on the counter in my kitchen. The machine is surprisingly quiet and I don't hear anything when I am out of the kitchen. The loudest noise comes from the ice cubes dropping off the former into the base, but it is still pretty quiet. The ice machine forms 2 different sizes of ice. I tend to use the smaller setting as I only like a couple of ice cubes in my glass. If you are having a party or a large gathering, you can run the machine for a few hours beforehand and then transfer the cubes to your freezer. The basket inside won't keep the ice cubes frozen and they will start to melt quickly. You can make a lot of ice fairly quickly if you keep emptying the basket. I love that I don't have to buy ice at the store when I have people over and look forward to using this machine a lot over the summer! The ice making machine has a self-cleaning feature, which is awesome. It only takes a few minutes and then your ice cubes taste fresh and delicious again. You can also use this machine to make juice cubes, lemon cubes, soda cubes, etc. You just need to wash it afterwards so the flavor doesn't get into your next batch of regular ice. I haven't noticed an increase in my electric bill and love that this machine is pretty efficient. The buttons are easy to use and the machine is pretty simple to use. For the price, in my opinion, this is better than GE ice machine and for a fraction of the cost. It works the same, same results, and affordable. If you are looking for an ice machine with little ice cubes, than you have found your product. We love everything about this.

The media could not be loaded. The first time I used this I didn’t have chilled water & it still made the first ice in about 7 minutes! I love that you can select the size of ice that you want, and small is my favorite. We don’t have an ice maker in our fridge and didn’t want one because we have well water & don’t want mineral buildup in the ice system. We get tired of having to fill trays, though. This ice maker solves that because we can make ice with bottled water so don’t have to worry about mineral buildup. There’s also the bonus of saving space in the freezer since we don’t need the trays any more. The amount of ice it holds is fine for me & my husband. We haven’t had a group of friends over yet since we got it, though, so don’t know how that will go. My guess is that a tray of ice from this machine might be about the same volume as 2 trays in the freezer. Since this freezes faster than the regular trays I don’t think it would be a problem. I’d probably make some ahead of time & store in the freezer to get a jump start on demand, just as I would before with the regular trays. I gave it a 4 rather than 5 because it’s much louder than I expected since it was described as quiet, and because some of the water drains back down in the holding tray & makes the ice wetter. It’s about as loud as my air purifier set on max. That doesn’t bother me but may bother some, and I wouldn’t say it meet most people’s expectations of “quiet.” Overall I’m very pleased with it for our needs. ... show more

'm absolutely thrilled with this ice cube maker. It's perfectly sized for the counter and produces enough ice for my family of 3. While I'll likely use it more in the summer, I'm impressed by how inconspicuous it is during operation. The performance is excellent, and it comes at an average price for an ice maker. This ice maker offers quick ice production and is space-saving, fitting well just about anywhere. However, the ice output wasn’t much for my needs. It's a decent option if you prioritize space, but consider your ice requirements before purchasing.

    • I’m glad I got this.
I drink water exclusively, the only thing is I like it to be ice cold. My fridge doesn’t have an ice maker and my trays just can’t keep up. This ice maker is quick and efficient. It doesn’t make a bunch of noise and it’s easy to keep clean. This has really made my daily water intake more enjoyable.
