    • Give you a visible line even on dirty metal

I use these in metal fabrication and the built in sharpener means you can always have a decent point. The yellow is my go to color and may never use the gray/black. Might have to try the red refills. They wear down quickly on rough metal but unlike June Gold deep reach markers (which I also have and which have completely failed) you can simply sharpen the tips. For a pencil specifically intended for construction, its a shame to have had the black on break almost immediately from a very slight impact (fell out of my hand to the ground not more than 4 ft). The mechanism will no longer hold, causing the upper half to randomly- and I do mean randomly- fire out because of the spring. Good luck holding onto that cap on the back of the pencil. I’ve lost both of mine. They won’t stay on with regular usage in and out of pockets constantly. Hopefully by now they’ve changed to click and lock. Otherwise great for carpentry and I still use bug without cap.
