  • SMART LAP MACHINE: Our All-U-Need flat lap machine is an American-made rock polisher that makes an excellent tool for easily grinding, shaping, smoothing, and polishing rocks, stones, minerals, synthetic gem material, enamels, and metals to make cabochons for necklaces, earrings, rings, and other jewelry pieces. It also serves as one of the most versatile rock shaping and polishing tools available. Comes with a complete accessory kit to start your projects right out of the box.
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE: Each All-U-Need is installed with a powerful 1/4 hp, heavy-duty, direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings. The motor is variable speed and can be adjusted from 800 rpm all the way up to 3,400 rpm, allowing you to work at your own pace. The coolant reservoir holds about a pint of water. This flat lap machine comes with a 1/2" arbor and accept backing plates that have a 1/2" arbor hole.
  • PORTABLE MACHINE: This flat lap is a lightweight, portable machine that works anywhere. It's constructed with ABS plastic that is rustproof and easy to clean. The All-U-Need has a small footprint and measures 10" X 10" X 12". Weighing just 9 lbs, it is a portable rock polisher suitable for use on tabletops and workbenches. You can even take it on the road with you! Its quiet motor won't disturb others around you.
  • COMPLETE FLAT LAP: The All-U-Need comes with everything you need. Its accessory kit includes one 6" 180# electroplated diamond disc, one 6" 325# brown diamond disc, one 6" 600# red diamond disc, one 6" 1200# blue diamond disc, one 6" Tech-11 polishing pad, one 2-gram 14,000 mesh diamond paste syringe, and four 6" acrylic backing plates. It's ideal for rock polishing various gem materials, both natural and synthetic. Additionally, it comes with a waterproof apron and detailed instructions.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We have cut and polished so many rocks since then. This thing is great! I would recommend buying an 80 grit disc for initial shaping to save a lot of time. Easy to use, good quality. Would buy again.

I was excited about this design because the water runs down a tube, not out of the side like the other model. Two major flaws are the excess table which is an absolute nightmare to clean, and the splash guard. The splash guard is super flimsy and I’m using small clamps to keep it from tipping over with a full water well attached. Some way to actually attach it would be nice. The excess table that catches the water and excess that is ground off the rocks is a disaster of a design. But the machine works great and I’m able to prep for the upcoming rock show. ... show more

The first round of trying to shape these was rough…. Literally. I had so many flat spots. Getting the foam pads was a game changer. It made my cabs rounded and expedited the process. I found this out the hard way and had to remove each grit from the plastic base then put the foam pads on. If you are making rounded cabs don’t buy this without the foam pads! Additionally, I bought a couple diamond grit wheels to shape them faster up front, then I use the pad included to get them smooth and shiny! ... show more

We have used one of these for years. It’s a workhorse! Our stones look as good as those we see for sale at rock shows. Cool entry level machine easy to use just needs better polishing pads and a 80 grit pad to grind faster …. The other pads suck as the blue and red material on pads tore apart onto my stones as I was polishing ….. I should of gotten the larger 8 inch machine as this 6 inches is very limited to stone size you can polish ... show more
