  • Hiland is all about customer service
Color: Black Style: Spoked Wheel
I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants a great value. The bike is well made and looks nice and the price is well worth it. Unfortunately my bike had some shipping damage. The fork was bent when we took it out of the box. I contacted Hiland and they told me to get the fork replaced and they would refund the total. That is just what happened. I highly recommend the purchase of this bike and rest assured that if there is any shipping damage they will take care of you. ... show more

  • Considerations before purchase
Color: Black Style: 6-spoke Wheel
This MTB is of fair quality. It looks very snazzy and appealing (a lot of compliments). Some upgrades will be required to better the bike such as; thicker tire tubes (stock quality is poor and doesn’t hold air), seat post (doesn’t stay in place and will strip if tighten anymore), better seat cushioning, handlebar grips (poor and slippery), peddles (cheap narrow plastic), and it’s highly recommended to take to a local bike shop to have inspected once assembly is completed. The brake disks needed proper professional adjustments and the cables were said to be twisted in its housing/coverings. I ride this bike hard almost everyday in a round trip of 10 miles and it’s hanging in so far. (Image is after assembly and not with any upgrades which have already been made) ... show more

  • Looks great, rides good!
Color: White Style: 3-spoke Wheel
I needed a new bike and this one looked awesome with the 3 spoke wheels! I also wanted something lighter than my old MTB and this one is, nothing too dramatic but it’s quite a bit easier to carry around and maneuver. I’ve only risen it about 4 or 5 times now (about 10 miles each) but it feels good and hasn’t given me any issues. I spend awhile getting the brakes and wheels adjusted when first assembling it, but I feel any bike you have to put together is going to need that treatment. The shocks felt very stiff out of the box but there is an adjusted so I loosened it up as much as I could and it rides better on my path now. I’d recommend this bike! Will update if anything catastrophic or unexpected happens to it. ... show more

  • Lemon From Day 1
Color: White Style: 6-spoke Wheel
This bike is a piece of junk. From day one, the chain constantly fell off and the disk brakes squeaked. We took it to a bike shop and were told that the disk was warped and that's why it squeaked, but because it was Covid time and there wasn't a lot available in the way of bikes, we kept it. Fast forward to today. Both brake handles have snapped off and we just got a call from the guy at the bike shop who said that, in addition to the brake handles being broken, the front brake caliper doesn't work and the bearings need to be replaced. Long story short, the bike is going to cost more to fix than it's worth. My son only rode this bike to and from school which is about 1/4 mile away from our house on a paved bike trail, so it's not like the bike was abused. Do not buy these bikes. They are garbage and a true example of "you get what you pay for." ... show more

  • Nice experience all around
Color: Orange Style: Spoked Wheel
Liked very much.my last bike was from a bike shop and they built it,so I was a little apprehensive of what would show up.Great packing ,well protected and most importantly not damaged.I went step by step and inspected everything as I went along.great assembly experience (used my own tools)the first and most important part for me was there was no adjustments other than the seat of course.I have my expensive bike to compare to and this bike really surprised me every thing important to me the ride and sturdiness was spot on.The shifting was very smooth,I recommend this bike very much for street use.Not going to use it in the mountains or trails with I am fairly sure I would come across some limitations. ... show more

  • MTB needs improvements to be better
Color: Orange Style: Spoked Wheel
Received the bike and my 16 y/o son was able to assemble it without very much support from me. Looking at the bike I am not fond of the front derailleur or the shifters. The rear derailleur is Shimano, and that is stated on the product page, but the front derailleur is no name and the front derailleur looks cheaply made to me and although I could adjust it and get it to work better, I just ended up ordering a Shimano setup and will install that. In regards to the shifter/brake assemblies, those are even more cheap. The downshifter looks plastic and is flexing and stressing during use and again I ended up order better quality items to replace these as well. I do like the welding on the frame, and the colors, and the seat seems okay so far. The handlebars are not superb either and I may upgrade those as well. Wheels and tires appear okay and the wheels out of the box were straight as were the brake rotors. Bike is light and maneuverable and my son likes it and so we'll just improve the parts that need improvement and keep the bike instead of trying to send it back. Price of bike commands better quality I believe. We did have to wait for the bike to come in and that took a while (not Amazon Prime shipping that you might expect), although many of my orders now do not come in like they did pre-COVID times. Everything is slow now. Concluding I would not order this bike again if I knew the issues with the quality of some of the parts. ... show more

  • Very happy
Color: Black Style: 3-spoke Wheel
I purchased this bike to pick up a hobby to help me quit smoking and couldn't be happier. Arrived earlier than expected and was easy to assemble. The first weekend I rode it 3.5 miles & 8.9 miles, I figured out where to make adjustments and how / when to shift gears (it's been over 24 years since I was on a bicycle). The only downside for me was the bike seat (the seat that came with it made my but sore after about 6 miles) and was a little rough going over bumps and cracks in the road (but that was due to a higher tire pressure). After ordering a new seat (I recommend the Everlasting Comfort Ventilated Bike Seat Cushion) and trying out different tire pressures it rides very well. My second weekend of having it I rode it 3 days in a row of 20-25 miles a day and my distance was only limited because I ran out of water. My legs feel like spaghetti (but I'm good with that) and my butt feels fine and found a few more things to tweak / tighten on the bike and installed a third water bottle mounted to my handle bars. ... show more
