As a 5'8" 135 pound almost 50 female, I was able to assemble most of the bike by myself that took me around 2 hours including unpacking. The video and book instructions didn't necessarily match my model, but I was able to figure it out. However, I did have to phone a friend to help get the front tire installed properly. Also, the steering wheel didn't work the wheel and it lacked 2 bolts to attach the back fender I planned to have a bike mechanic check it out before riding it anyway and they were able to properly install the wheel and fender, grease it adequately, adjust the breaks from rubbing, and doing other things needed for $130. It was all well worth it! Went on my first hour long ride today and this bike may be my favorite purchase of the decade! It rides smooth and the pedal assist and throttle work perfectly. The bike material is super quality. Even the mechanic said it's the nicest one he's seen that was ordered online. It has blinkers for turn signals, a horn, and the headlight and brakel ight work perfectly. The battery charges super fast and was barely used after the hour ride. I saw a review that complained about the display showing off all of the time. There is actually an on/off switch in the area by the charging port to turn it completely off when not in use and nothing is shown on the display. I highly recommend this bike. Just note that it also did not come with the front basket as advertised. EDIT - I reported it did not come with the basket, but received one 2 weeks later! Also have noted that they changed the description of my product with different options to have a front/back basket, saddle bag, etc. I installed it by myself on the front. Just had to get creative to use zip ties so the wires don't impact steering. Super happy with this bike! ... show more

In this review, I'll be sharing my impressions of this distinctive ride. After asking for recommendations and assessing my bike requirements, Heybike proved to be the ideal choice, offering the right features at the right price point.I am new to electric bikes and wanted something that was easy to use, and quality built and would fit within my price range. I'm here to share my thoughts on this unique ride. When I was asking around to see what features my bike needed, Heybike fit the bill and the price. Design and Build Quality The Heybike showcases a sleek and contemporary design that immediately captures your attention. Its frame seamlessly combines style with sturdiness, making it a dependable companion for daily commutes or leisurely rides through town. The matte finish adds a touch of premium elegance, and the meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every detail of its construction. My husband took on the task of assembling the bike, leveraging his experience with various mountain bikes, and his familiarity with their assembly process. While I'm perfectly capable of following instructions and watching instructional videos, this particular assembly would have proven too complex for me. It appears that there may have been changes to the bike design since the instructional videos were made, as they didn't align with the components I had. Fortunately, with my husband's expertise, we managed without any issues. The media could not be loaded. I was on the fence about getting an e-bike, but while looking online, I found Heybike and subscribed to their website. Every time they sent a new message, I returned to them because of how attractive their bikes were. I looked into reviews, and the majority seemed to recommend the company. Finally, I decided to take the plunge on 12/19. Shipping was $200, but I received the e-bike in three days! Assembly was super easy. I just watched their YouTube video for the model I bought and followed the instructions. I paused and rewinded a lot to ensure I was doing it correctly, but I am not a handy person, so I was being super careful. In about 45 minutes, I completed the assembly process by myself. The bike is super solid, and all the components seem high quality. The Ranger S is a heavier bike than I am used to, but this is my first e-bike, so my comparison criteria might not be fair. The bike folds in half very quickly by releasing the safety lever, which is also easy. One thing that I would recommend the maker do is include a lock so it stays folded. The bike comes with turning signals in the rear and back, a brilliant LED light in the front, and a lead in the back beside the brake light. I love that you can remove the battery to provide extra security, carry an additional battery, or make it easier to charge inside. Using the app, you will also have a lock mechanism and a GPS locator. The bike is set by default to run at 20mph, but a simple change in the app seems to allow you to go as fast as 28mph; I have not tested the distance yet. The seat is super comfortable, and I got the front basket and the saddlebags for the back. In summary, I am enjoying it right now. I will add to this review once I have used it longer. ... show more
