I'm hard to please for cooking pans. These are taking some load off my copper stainless. I'll still use those for summers and brazing. These are phenomenal everyday pans. They will sear and brown, unlike non stick. The clean up great. Be careful of two things. Lid handles get scorching hot. No insulation. The pans are quick to heat up and transmit heat. The pots and pans are everything they claim. After initial seasoning they are non-stick (I still use a small amount of butter or oil) and cleanup easily either by hand or in dishwasher.
