26" is a good, comfortable hight for standard kitchen islands. The stools are well built for the price. They are very comfortable too. But, and that's the only reason I didn't give five stars, the plastic 'feet' at the base of the stools are very small (very hard to keep felt protectors on them), so if you have hard wood floors, you will end up scratching your floors eventually. Currently looking for a solution. If anyone has a recommendation, please post a reply. Thanks. Otherwise, very happy with the stools. ... show more

Bar stools arrived more than a week earlier than expected. Professionally packaged - nothing was damaged. Simple to assemble. Stools are very comfortable and very sturdy - self leveling as we have them on padded carpet.

One of the bar height ones wobbles (legs/base a little “off”), but otherwise they’re pretty good. Easy to put together, comfortable, and they look good. 3 of the chairs are missing at least one of the floor stubs ( if that what it’s called) now the chair rocks because can’t even be replaced, it’s broken. Now I have to break them all off and buy news ones hoping it’ll work.
