Bought some other snips thinking most were created equally and turns out I was very wrong. I've cut through several sets now and not a single nick on the cutting edges. Very comfortable in hand too. Only con is that I've noted that the hinge joint is leaking a little lubricant. Don't know if that's normal for these yet (like a break in), but does not appear to be affecting performance. These are really poorly made. The spring isn’t strong enough to open the jaws, which are horribly misaligned and look like they were ground by hand in the dark. One side was just flat instead of sharp. Also, these are just end nips, not fret cutters/pliers. For a fret tool, the edge of the tool is supposed to be right at the exterior curve of the jaw, not beveled back several millimeters. Had to spend like an hour reprinting the whole thing to make it (barely) usable. ... show more
