This brand has always been our favorites and the knife block blends beautifully with the color of our cabinets. My only struggle, yes I did just get them, is being careful not to touch any of the wood with the point of the knife when placing them in the holder. Anything sharp knicks off the cherry coating. Daily use might become a bit challenging. I took out my steak knives (used daily) and placed them in another drawer leaving the ones in the block used a bit less. The first shipment had a cracked block/holder. Exchanging it was super easy and now my Mother-in-law loves her new set of knives. I got her these because she loved using our set when she’d come to visit.
