Very thin & fast burning. The stick part that goes into your incense burner hole is extremely thin so it bounces up and down like a teeter totter if you have a sideways incense burner or almost flops all the way over if you're using an incense burner that holds incense stick straight up & down, causing the ashes to fall all over the surface-top instead of into the incense burner where it belongs. Very little fragrance. Could be old... Boxes were seriously damaged although the incense themselves were not. ... show more

I have a few things of Hem incense, in the same color container, that is also called "Precious." I thought that's what this would be, however, they smell quite different. The other one did have a sweet musky fragrance, but this stuff basically just smells like baby powder. If that's your thing, then you'll love this, but if you don't want your room smelling like a giant bottle of baby powder, I'd advise you to avoid this fragrance. ... show more

The musk is a flowery kind of musk which I like. If you ever walked into a store that was owned by Hindus this is probably the scent they where using.The scent is quite strong though not too strong. I use this mainly for room deodorizing purposes. I also bought the Nippon brand of musk sticks and those don't smell at all and don't work for my purposes. I've also bought the Satya brand and those sticks don't stay lit and are hard to light. These light up in 3-5 seconds and stay lit. These are much better quality than the non-name-brand brown powdery bulk kind of incense you can find sold in malls. ... show more

I absolutely love this scent. I use it for meditation. These sticks are pretty thick, and they burn for almost an hour. The scent lingers for awhile, but they are not overpowering. Nice purchase at a great price.

I like the fact that this item comes in bulk packaging, more to love. The thing is these sticks are over powering, much too strong, a very heavy almost stinky sweet. I would not recommend burning these sticks in the home but could possibly be used outdoors in your yard if the neighbors don't have something to say about it. ... show more

what a lovely scent. my house smells so good. this is a very good value for the money and i highly recommend the product although the label is not the same as the musk. there is a difference between the fragrance and musk varieties but both are amazing. buy this product.

I burn this when I go to bed. I love the fragrance, but the stick ends tend to be very thin and easily breakable. Take care when putting this in the holder. I wish it burned a bit slower, but overall I'm happy with it, and will order this again.
