I've played with some mid range ($60-100 each) paddles and I actually prefer these. I like the grip and the quality is pretty good. These paddles will get you playing and enjoying the game. Eventually you'll be ready for a more advanced paddle with greater control or power, but this is a great entry level one! I purchased when they were an Amazon deal 50% off. I was so excited to replace our current wooden paddles that came with the net. Only 3 stars because the 1 out of the 4 paddles is un-raveling on the handle and the side strip is breaking off. Updating my review. Company is so friendly and reached out as soon as they seen this issue I had. They offered replacements, free of charge to show good faith. They are great paddles. Just had 1 bad one in the bunch.
