In the past I have normally used this type product for washing dishes, pots, nonstick pans, cups, and cleaning my stainless steel sink. Because I have an old handle and the extra sponge heads fit that handle I have been using it to clean my bathroom sink and bathtub with a popular pink cleaner. This is a standard dish wand and non-scratch scrubber set. They are as durable as most others. They begin to shred/rip and leak, and will need to be replaced on a regular basis. I thought I'd give it a try since it was listed as heavy duty. That could be the sturdy handle, which it is. This is one of the best dish wand/sponges available. I used some version of them for years, but this one finally brought back the soap control button. If you never used one of these dish wands before, let me tell you that they are much better than simple the sponge and soap operation. First a tip, fill the wand with antimicrobial soap, that way there is always some soap in the sponge and it will not get bad or develop any odor, like regular sponges do over time (especially if you do not dry them correctly). This is not a problem with this one. Secondly I use so much less soap with this wand, as it only releases a small amount each time you use it to wash an item. But this one has an extra button you can push to release some more soap, especially if you work with heavily soiled dishes. (They used to have that at some of the other wands i used in the past, but it disappeared. This one has it again, Great.) It is super easy to wash with is and it fits in most cups and jars to clean inside as well. The sponges can be quickly exchanged once they are too soiled or old. But believe me they last much longer then regular dish sponges. I really like this dish wand. ... show more

I usually use these, but I’ve been buying them at the store and they are a namebrand and much more expensive than this. These were just as good there’s no need to spend extra money when you can use these over a definitely better than using washcloths all the time.

    • Scrubbers! They do the job, but the value is in how many you get.

I'd love to say these scrubbers and the included dish soap wand are revolutionary. I'd love to say they'd change the way you do dishes and pots/pans forever. Sadly, I cannot say that - there's nothing novel or revolutionary about these. They still eventually wear down, they all suffer from the same flaw where failure to store it 'sponge up' will result in dish soap leaking everywhere. But, I will say the handle is around the same quality as you'd find elsewhere and the scrubber/sponge does a fair job in tackling food/residue the same way most others do. As with most, you'll want to ensure you're soaking anything like pans that have caked on, dried food residue first - they don't exactly cut through that like a warm knife through butter - but they'll suffice. No, the true value here is that you get not only a handle/dispenser but these extra sponges/scrubbers, whereas other products just include one. I'm glad I have this and won't need to get new ones for awhile based on how long these have lasted. But I do know they're breaking down and one doesn't last forever. ... show more

For a while now I have been using a dish cloth to do the dishes. When things are left in the sink for a while and is all dried out and icky I needed something scrubby to help get the junk off. This scrub wand is just what I needed. It easily gets off the caked on junk and muck. I haven't filled it with soap yet. I just use it as a scrubber. it's also great for cleaning the bottom of drinking glasses. It's especially great at cleaning and scrubbing my two kitties bowls. I like this product, it is easy to use and it is easy on plates. However, I would not use this on pots and pans. The detergent space works well but virtually you can't control the soap dispensing. It just flows. Overall, it's an alright poduct.

I despise touching a sponge as I know it probably smells like mildew on day 2 of using it so these plastic handled wands make my job as dishwashing husband that much easier! Very economical and like that it comes with a replacement want and not just the refills.
