  • Quality lift kit for 1993 Club Car DS
I gave 5 stars overall due to exceptional customer service by the vendor. 4 stars for lift kit itself. Kit appears to be good quality but did require some modifications to fit my 93 Club Car. I had to drill out all 3 knuckle holes for tie rods. I also had to fabricate custom rear shock extensions to allow use of factory style shocks. You have to flip the top leaf spring plate over to allow this if you have a 93. Finally as others have noted I needed to add a brace in each rear lift blocks to keep them from bending. 23" tires fit with no problem. I fabricated the front plate as it did not come with kit but it was not suppose to. I contacted customer service and after sending photos they promptly issued a fair credit for that extra unexpected work. They advised they would let their supplier know so they could improve the kit. Overall it turned out great and pleased with the kit. I would recommend the kit. ... show more

  • Updated! 👍🏻👍🏻
(Update) My original review is below and for what it’s worth tl/dr: This lift is awesome and customer service is stellar! One of my spindle welds failed, and I couldn’t tell you if it was something I did or if it was a faulty part, but what I can tell you is that I sent a message to the seller and the communication was awesome, the offers and options to remedy the situation were numerous and the final result was to send me an entire replacement kit at no charge. Not a swap, but a whole new kit! I haven't had much luck with Amazon returns when something goes wrong, but this gave me hope. Thank you Esther for everything you did to get me back on the road, wherever you may be. (Original Review) I really didn’t like the idea of a full 6” lift on my little cart, but was talked into it by a coworker and I can’t explain how glad I am that I went with this. Cart is mostly a woods trail cart, nothing too crazy, just wanted to clear little roots and sticks and this damn sure does that. Quality looks great and so far it’s been a great kit. I’ll come back in a few weeks to let you know if anything changes. If you’re wondering if the price point is still going to get you a quality lift, don’t think twice about getting this one. It’s well worth it. ... show more

  • YouTube the installation instructions you’re gonna need it
Product seems same quality as the name brand lifts, instructions are less than clear.

  • Same as the expensive brands
This lift kit is very much the same as the more expensive brands. Brands such as GTW, SGC, and MadJax but in some cases half the price. I have installed a few and the only differences I see are the included front plate, different bushings, and grease zirks. But the design, construction, and materials are exactly the same. 1 Chinese company makes them all! Don't let the fancy branded name fool you. They don't all look like the picture on the Web. The a-arm design seldom is. First thing you may notice is there is no front plate included. Don't worry as it is definitely not needed nor wanted in my opinion. It is just a cover plate for the other brands to put their logo. It semi hides the lift kit. Serves no other purpose. Just adds weight. And it looks better without it. The only poly bushings that came with this version was for the spring bolt assembly. Other bushings appear to be black rubber. The black rubber is more susceptible to the sun's rays and may deteriorate the bushings sooner. And just not as colorful. FYI, OEM bushings are black rubber. But these bushings are hidden from the sun anyways. Other brands have grease zirks on the control arms. Why? This is not actually a good thing. There are no metal to metal parts that need greased in the a-arms. They move entirely on the rubber bushings. And you DON'T ever grease rubber bushings! If the grease has petroleum products in it, it will degrade the rubber. Silicone grease won't hurt them but there is no positive effect in greasing them. Now the install part. You save money by putting it entirely together. Assembling the a-arms, spring, and top plate literally takes under 5 minutes. You can Google the instructions for any of the name brands and you will see how it goes together. This vendor should have included the drawing. Again, they are the same as the other more expensive brands. Tighten the arms to the plate and spring till they just get snug with very little wiggle. Don't over tighten where the bushings are involved or you will end up compressing them too much and bending the metal. When installing the heim joints ( the 4 eyelet looking pieces) thread them in most of the way. The less threads showing the better. I leave about 3/16 threads showing on top and bottom. When installing the top allen bolts, do not use the thread locker till after you have completely aligned the front end. Using the thread locker is the very last thing you should do. Those bolts may have to come out to adjust the heim joint. Cart should be completely back together with the wheels on the ground. Completely aligned. And then jack it back up to remove these top bolts and use the thread locker. I just installed this kit on a '97 48v club car DS. All parts were used and fit together perfectly. There was nothing I had to drill out. Everything for perfectly together. It's almost like it was made for my cart. 😂 All necessary hardware was included. You must reuse the 4 long bolts that attach the plate to your cart and reuse any castle nuts and cotter pins. I do highly suggest buying new cotter pins for the tie rods and axles though. I would definitely buy this kit again when needed. No need to waste money on a name when it isn't any different. And when in doubt, Google, YouTube, and common sense are your friend. Maybe I'll do a video next time. ... show more

  • Illustrations in directions are not accurate.
The installation directions clearly show the link between the leaf spring and the lower A-Arms as being installed outward and center of the 2 drilled holes in the lower A-Arms. There is no way to attach the link in the location indicated in the instructions because there is no hole drilled there. If there was a hole drilled there it would interfere with the heim joint. I contacted the seller regarding this issue asking if I received the wrong parts or if they were incorrectly fabricated. Obviously the seller is not completely familiar with their product, because they offered to give me $20.00 to have a repair shop drill the holes for me. It turns out that the link does in fact attach to the pre drilled hole. Please see attached photos. Other wise the installation went well and I have driven over some rough terrain and all the parts seem to be holding up well. ... show more

  • Less expensive, good quality.
This item provided the same parts at almost half the price of competitors. Has illustrated instructions and parts are good quality and arrived on time, well packed. Only warning not related to product. Removal of existing parts is not as easy as the videos on YouTube lead you to believe.

  • Very poor instructions and hardware included didn't work!!!
The instructions with this kit were horrible, might as well not even included them. Had to re-use numerous nuts and bolts on the front parts and the bolts for the rear lift were not long enough to reach through the block, springs, and into the lower bracket. Had to buy $35 worth of longer bolts to finish assembling it. Very disappointed and would recommend going with a higher quality kit!!!! ... show more
