I love these! Very fast installation, with the rail mounts you can space them for whatever your stud spacing is, change the shelf heights, and always have level shelves. I use these to hold spare lumber under my front porch. I have three sets!     • Wood storage brackets
These are made from steel with a quality powder coated finish. Installation was easy (make sure you find structure to attach them to otherwise these won’t support much weight). The installation has you install two upright brackets to the wall with 4 lag bolts. Once the uprights are attached you then have a series of holes to select from in where to place your horizontal supports. The attachment is done with a quick release type pin. The issue I experienced is a misalignment of the pin hole between the upright and the shelf bracket. I needed to force it in at an angle to get alignment. Heavy material should last for a long time. I haven't put a lot of weight on them yet but they appear to be able to handle what I have on them plus a lot more!

I got these to organize my lumber in the shed. But, then I ended up with other shelving that worked instead. So I have stored these for future use. That said, this wall storage rack is well made, with included hardware, and ready to go for all sorts of installation option. I like the inclusion of lag screws vs. smaller screws. I also like the included connectors to join together racks vertically for maximum flexibility. And I especially like the ability to adjust the shelf bracket height as needs change over time. ... show more

    • Helped solve a storage problem but could be better
These helped free up space in our shed and helped keep different wood pieces separate. So far, they show no signs of struggling in any way. I hung mine vertically as in the product picture but I would have liked that they were a designed different, without taper, to install horizontally on the wall to give greater flexibility for storing door slabs on end like books between the brackets, for instance. The taper is definitely better idea if you are considering using this with a board to make a shelf. It isn't easy to see the tips of the brackets, especially since they are dark-colored and get narrower at the ends, so I've sprayed the ends of mine to make them easily visible and help prevent injury. ... show more
