They didn’t come with batteries, and they take two AA which is all cool with me, they are a great set for the price! Love the color, I got blue with black and they’re great! The scissors aren’t super heavy duty if you’re looking for that, but for a hospital setting they’re perfect.

Half of my scissors were rainbow and half were just a good color. Dissappointed. Email seller hopefully it will be fixed. And my light doesn't work with any new batteries I put in it. I'd give a 5 star once these problems are fixed. *UPDATE* Seller contacted me immediately and agreed to fix the problem. I explained I know it wasn't done purposely. Accidents happen. When you get a great seller they fix the problem and want you to be happy. I got my replacement in the mail today and I'm very pleased.     • Flimsy shears, great pen light!

I work in EMS, and our senior EMS officers have always told us that ‘if our shears can’t cut a penny in half, they’re not good enough.’ These shears couldn’t do it. I was told to just spend the extra money and get Raptors; all of my friends & coworkers love theirs. The pen light, on the other hand, is sturdy and works great! I personally prefer blue-white lights over yellow-white for my penlights. Overall I would recommend this bundle, it’s a decent deal. I’m still carrying the shears until I order Raptors, and I’ll probably continue carrying them when the Raptors arrive just as a backup. ... show more

Awesome scissors for hospital use on wound care. I’ve even used them (a separate pair) for costume making at home. My supervisor always wanted to steal them from me because they cut really well and are very sturdy. Great for the price!!!

Scissors are fine. The pen light is 100% junk. Did not work straight out of the box. I changed the batteries and it works *maybe* 15% of the time. Not a steady light though. More like a strobe. Do yourself a favor and go to the local medical supply store and get one.

I love the purple and the pen is very sturdy! However the scissors are a bit hard to open, which means a good hand work out when using them. Other than that they are asthetically pleasing and they match my stethoscope!!!!!

We added a tourniquet and shears to each first aid kit, one for camping, one in each car. They are well made and cut fabric well, even thick fabric like denim. We store each in a pouch to attach to the backpack when we need to take it along. Hope we never need it but glad it will be with us.
