I’ve been struggling with a small mortar for years..never quite did the job. I do a lot of curries and masala sauces, this is making it so much easier to grind the spices..just as much or as little as I want..used it for masala and karak chai spice prep too. I like that the product is nice and sturdy period It has great texture for the perfect grind. I like the size because it's not too small for a good pile of herbs, and it's not too large. Where it fills up the whole counter, easy to clean.
