I bought this to "hem" a pair of pants that were too long. It was easy to use and it worked wonders. No one could tell that I did any alterations. I also used on a denim shirt to shorten the strap. I’m not very handy when it comes to sewing, but this tape made making a costume for my son’s project mangeable. I had to measure twice before sealing everything, but the hold is great. I would use this for simple hems on pants too. Really convenient. I followed the directions, but used high heat and applied some pressure for longer than directed. Maybe my fabric was too thick or the wrong material but it didn't work. It just stuck to my skirt but it didn't hem or stick the two fabrics together at all.
