Sew-On Deep Pinch Pleat Header Tapes - White Polyester. Simply sew to panel and pull cords to create distinctive drapery heading. Deep Pleat tape offers 5 '' pleat take-up when skipping every other channel. Skip 2 channels between hooks for 3 '' spacing and 2.6x fullness, or 3 channels between hooks for 4 '' spacing and 2.3x fullness.

I had 5 windows and a very limited budget. I purchased some lovely inexpensive drapes that had only a rod pocket and no pleats. I decided to try this tape to add a more finished touch. Once I figured out the proper layout of the tape and number of pleats needed, it was an easy project. All I did was sew the tape to top of each panel. I added some Dritz four-pronged pleater hooks, and voila... I now have drapes that have an expensive custom look. This tape is easy to use and comes with good instructions. This is shown as a 3.5" wide tape. It doesn't measure 3". The quality however was ok. I had to send the rolls back.

Great at turning blackout rod pocket with back tab curtain panels into drapes. MUCH less expensive than custom or even standard drape panels. There is some work involved with the entire process, but that has nothing to do with the tape. The tape is very easy to sew on. Only thing I think would be a lot easier is if the channels where you put in the hooks were a little wider. Maybe using thinner, or sharp tipped hooks would have eliminated that issue. ... show more

I really like how stiff these were. I used them for my first time making curtains for my living room. I had really sheer light weight fabric and didn't want the top to sag. These were perfect to add a little structure to the curtains. Even had a little different color thread to assist you with not sewing the pockets down by mistake. ... show more

This tape is NOT 3.5. It is 3”. I am so sick of these companies misrepresenting the widths.
