Love the heat gun. Very effective. Gets hot fast so be careful! EDIT: been a little over a month. The heat gun still works but sounds like it's going to die soon. I'll update if and when it does die so you can figure out how long it will last you.

I bought this for some heat shrink tubing on an electrical project. It works great and only takes seconds to shrink the tubing. The attached kickstand is nice. I would recommend this if you are looking for a small heat gun.

I bought this heat gun to use for insulating my windows, but the heat gun did not seem powerful, because of the quiet fan, I almost burned through the film. Oops. I gave 4 stars because of the electrical cord. I wish it were longer. You may need an extension cord as it is a product used for crafts only. But, if certainly proved wrong. I rarely rate products so me doing this is a big deal for me. This product solved a huge issue for me in working with epoxy. The bubbles!!! In working on a high end walnut table with a logo inlay. I went over the epoxy 4-5 times with this tool and in ~14 square feet of epoxy .25 inches thick I have no bubbles. Flawless. It doesn’t shoot out too fast or too hot. It isn’t a scary torch like you see most on most YouTube channels. It’s clearly designed by people who work regularly with epoxy. Back to work on sanding! Thank you CT! ... show more

If you’re like me when choosing your first heat tool (for watercolor use) and you’re reading the reviews to see which one is best, THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT. The reason I chose this on is because the reviews on the instruction pamphlet were hilarious and they did not let me down. This is one of the best instruction pamphlets I have ever read in my life. I’m sure most heat tools are very similar, but this one is the one you want; it’s lightweight, it has the features you need, and it doesn’t take a lot of storage space, which is much needed when crafting. But for real you must read the instruction pamphlet from front to back!!! No regrets. Thank you team Chandler!!, This might be the highlight of my week. ... show more
