these folders would be amazing if they fit in the Sizzix big shot machine. they are too thick to fit with the proper acrylic sandwich, and if you leave out a layer, they do fit, but the embossing is barely visible. if you use a different machine, these are a great deal - they are thick, have cute patterns and are a nice quality. but they do NOT fit in the Sizzix Big Shot. edited to say: i have figured out a workaround to use them in the big shot, and while they aren’t as crisp as they could be, i’m happy to be able to keep them! ... show more

The folders are very shallow and don't emboss as much as I would like. It's not good for highlighting the tops of the impressions because there simply isn't enough depth to keep from hitting the background also. I can still use other methods of using them, but I have to be careful which to use. I won't return them, but I wouldn't buy them again. ... show more

I would have given this 5 stars because the folders work great, but I only received 8 out of the 10 pictured. Plus, two of the ones I received were duplicates. Bummer, because I really wanted the mountains.
