I got this for my mom because she's pretty old and her hearing isn't so good anymore. whenever I go to visit I have to ask her to turn down the volume on the TV because it hurts my ears and can't be good for my toddlers ears. I tested this out myself before giving it to her. When I first opened the instructions it got right into pairing it with a phone, which made me think I'd gotten the wrong device as that's not what I needed it for. I just wanted something simple that you turn on and it makes whatever you hear louder. I was pleasantly surprised that's exactly what it did. I guess the phone pairing thing is a bonus feature. But ya, you just turn it on and put it in your ears and everything around you is suddenly louder. The sound is very clear. The amplification was instant. I was concerned there might be a slight echo feature where I hear the original sound first then the amplified sound right after. Nope. It was seamless. Sounded great. My only complaint about this is the headphones/earbuds. They're just small earbuds attached to wires into the device. So as most people when you age, my hearing has been going, I feel. But I’m not ready to throw down the big bucks to get hearing aids just yet. So I found these hearing amplifiers that also look like they could be just earbuds. So I don’t have to jump right in to hit the hearing aid work so that’s pretty nice for my vanity. I love the comfort of these. They’re very easy around the neck and they’re easy on the ear. The buttons are easy to use and very easy to figure out. This was also very easy to sync up with my phone so that I could even listen to music with it as well as being able to hear everything around me. I love that these are wireless so that I don’t have to hook directly into my phone since nowadays most phones don’t have the phone jack anymore. I got these Bluetooth hearing aids for my elderly father, who has been struggling with hearing loss, and the truth is that they have become indispensable to improving his hearing ability. We've put them to the test in noisy environments or in situations with multiple sound sources, and they've greatly improved his listening experience since he can easily switch modes to reduce background noise. This has been a huge relief for us because he loves spending time with the family and now he can do so without worrying about the hearing aids running out of battery in the middle of a conversation.
