These hearing aids are very impressive to amplify sound. My husband enjoys using them to watch TV without having to raise the volume too loud. It is very convenient that they are rechargeable and no need to keep buying batteries. The noise suppression in busy environment, like at a store, is not very good. The hearing aids amplifies all the sounds. Or maybe we just don't know hoe to work that feature yet. ... show more

These are a good option for that family member who refuses to go get prescription hearing aids. These amplify sounds which we specifically wanted for TV watching. So that everyone in the house doesn't have to cringe at the TV being so loud, because one of us has some hearing damage/loss. Being rechargeable you're also not out of luck when the battery goes dead in them, and can't do anything about it until you get more batteries. Which this set you can recharge them as needed. So there's no issues with trying to replace tiny batteries. Very happy with this OTC option! ... show more

I ordered this hearing aid on Monday 11/13, it arrived on time on Wednesday 11/15. Within 120 seconds I find myself in the urgent care, because the earbud got stuck in ear

    • They do amplify…
My problem is these amplify every noise I DONT want blaring in my ear. Still hard to understand conversations, even if they are in my own vehicle with creeks and rattles being louder than my wife’s voice. Not happy with my purchase at all.

The media could not be loaded. FEMOMETER MODEL# FHE512 HEARING AID (2)(Amplifiers) are a system of two devices color coded for left/right ear. Units arrived charged ready to use but Manufacturer in Quick Start Guide recommends three hour charge prior to first use. Kit includes Charging Cable but NO AC POWER MODULE. In my opinion at the price point of these devices the AC Module should be part of the package. The Storage/Travel plastic case with attached lid is the CHARGING DOCK. There are three Green Indicator lights on front showing rate of charge and final all glow continuously green when fully charged. On the Review Set it took less than two hours to achieve full capacity. ACCESSORIES…. Additionally include Quick Start Guide with full detail USER MANUAL. The manual shows in pictures along with text how to change Ear Domes and suggested methods of wearing the hearing devices. There is background information about hearing aid and other general information I found important and interesting. Three packets of EAR DOMES included contain three sizes in each. I experimented and found one type worked best in right ear and different type worked better is left ear. The main unit sits behind the ear and the transparent tube into the ear cannot be seen unless specifically looking for it according to my wife. I looked in mirror from approximately three feet and I do not see it noticeable. Other accessories are: cleaning brush and Wax Guards.
