Their hearing aids are not covered by their benefits, and they are on a fixed income which means they have to buy them out of pocket and they're VERY EXPENSIVE! It's difficult for them to find a good hearing aid that fits into their budget. I found these while searching on Amazon. My grandparents have been very happy with them so far. They can charge in around 2 hours and have a running power of 12 hrs out of case! Once put in the case they get up to 3 more charges for an extra 36 hours. The ear pieces are comfortable and easy to adjust to either ear and has additional ear plugs to fit your ear canal best! They have a great crystal clear sound and also prevents any unnecessary noise that can be disturbing. They filter out background noise from people speaking ect which my grandpa said is very helpful. Overall, this provides them with crystal clear sound that is simple to adapt. Great for adults and seniors. He refuses to wear the ones prescribed to him let alone accept hearing loss as one of the defining traits of getting "old" this set is very sleek and modern in design and is likened in appearance to the typical earbuds that most people wear anyway. With that in mind he has agreed to wear them about for a week and the general consensus is basically a huge thumbs up from the old guy. He says he can hear clearly but also the background chatter of crowded placed can be tuned out. This is most likely due to its noise canceling feature. This set is rather long winded as far as battery life goes. They can charge right on the box and they last well over a day on a single charge. They are a comfortable fit for the old man too as you are offered various domes wich are designed for the many types of ear canals on the human ear. Let’s first say I was browsing for something to help my Dad, he spent the majority of his day saying HUH? I ran across these hearing amplifiers. I said for that awesome price, I’d order them just to see. When they arrived I charged them up in the really cool case they came in that shows if the aid on that side is charged or in need of charging. Super sleek and small. I read the instructions, then inserted them into my Dads ears. He could not believe it, he could hear EVERYTHING. He was able to turn the TV down from 19 to 4. He only takes them out to charge now. I bought this to assist my hearing of a family member with greatly decreasing voice strength. I am quite familiar with various wireless Bluetooth earbuds, and the fit is similar. I did have to use the enclosed size options to make the fit snug. Once I did that, the feedback squeal was limited to initial placement/ adjustment only. Easy to increase the volume. And I found I could use it in only one ear to work well, also. I have used it continuously for only an hour, so I can’t speak to the total duration you can use it without recharging.
