They worked great at first but after only four months of use both sides no longer work. I purchased the protection plan and all they do is tell me to contact the seller through their online store which doesn’t work. Stay away from this product.

Follow up, 31/2 months in. I am dropping from 4 stars to 2 stars. Left ear failed within 2 months. Right ear volume failing. Charge lasts about 2 hours. The product definitely works as advertised. However, as I said before, you get what you pay for. I will be upgrading to a similar product, hopefully, of better quality ******************************* You get what you pay for. Does it amplify sound, yes. My wife has had serious hearing loss. She needs the TV set at 80+ to hear it. With these aids she can hear at 45-50. She and I can now have a conversation at a normal tone. So, yes, it helps amplify the sound for someone with restricted hearing. The sound controls are very difficult to adjust in your ear. If you mishandle the device you get a screeching noise. To be fair, the instructions warn you about this problem. You get about 3hours use before the batteries need recharging. If my wife really likes them I will order another set so she’ll have one to use while the other is recharging. The case does not fully close when the devices are in it, but, that doesn’t interfere with the recharging. The recharge cord is very short. So you may need to get a longer cord to make recharging easier. Although they supply you with ample ear pieces, fitting to an ear is confusing and the packages are not marked as to size, so, a lot of trial and error before finding the right ones for your ear. Overall, it does work as advertised. Remember, they’re made in China, so you can’t expect real quality! ... show more

I've bought several different brands and kinds of hearing aids for my father who is 90 years old and is hard of hearing now. There are several reasons why I like this pair more than the other ones I've purchased. First off, I like how easy it is to adjust the volume. You simply turn the dial to the desired volume and it stays there permanently until you decide to change it again. Second reason is I like the shape because it's easy to place them in his ears. I have another airpod looking pair that is curved and is hard to figure out how to stick them in. Not with these, simple design is the best. Thirdly, the hearing aids indicate which one is for the right ear and which one is for the left. This is important because my dad has worse hearing on one side compared to the other so it's important to make sure you get the right one in the right ear. Lastly, I like the way it charges in the case where there are lights that indicate which hearing aid is fully charged and which one is not. That way I know both are charged fully instead of not knowing that one has below full charge while the other is fully charged. In conclusion, these are the best hearing aids I've purchased so far for my dad. I am thinking of buying another pair so that when one pair runs out of power I can quickly switch it to the other pair while I charge them. ... show more

This is my first hearing aid, so here is what I have learned... • When charging: make sure BOTH LEDs are lit. A gentle tap helps make a good connection so the LED lights up. • Battery life is excellent – they have not gone dead even after 8 hours. And they charge up fast. • The charging case is really difficult to open (too smooth, no handle) so I put a piece of tape that I can grab and open it with (later I cut a notch in the plastic that works even better than the tape. • You MUST install the correct ear-adapter (they give you nine different pairs/sizes), so if the first ones don’t fit quite right, try the other sizes. o This helped a LOT with falling out and eliminated the feedback (whistling) problem. o The ear-adaptors are easy to pull off (for cleaning or size adjustment). o Ships with the MEDIUM size installed, but I am a BIG guy, so I switched to the LARGE. o Tip: When installing the ear-adapters, turn them inside out first. After they are on the hearing aid, flip them back to normal. • If I'm sitting still at my desk or watching TV: works great. • Just walking around (inside): minor wind noise. • Where I work: Ultra-sonic (security motion detectors) do cause high-pitched interference whenever I walk by the sensor. o Also, if I walk by the IT department (servers) hallway, I get a lot of interference just outside the door to the Server room (the ultra-sonic interference again). o Both of these are annoying, but manageable. • At Home: no problems, works great. • At Church: no problems, works great. • Outside: wind noise can be annoying. Traffic noise can be unbearable. Just take out the hearing aid for a bit while outside if these annoy you. • Cleaning: Every so often, pull off (both) ear-adapters and use the little brush (provided) to clean any dust or debris out of the tiny hole that goes in your ear. Put the adapters back on. • OVERALL: I rate this hearing aid about 4 stars out of 5. Not excellent, but a GOOD value for what I paid. ... show more

If I can get my elderly mother to wear her hearing aids, that means it is a comfortable fit. If I don't have to repeat myself over and over, that means they work. She previously had custom made, through a Hearing Center, and of course, with a price tag to match. They were approximately $3400, but she lost one of them. We were constantly returning to the Hearing Center for replacement batteries. These hearing amplifiers are rechargeable and for the price, do the job. ... show more
