These are an excellent value. At this price point, they exceed my expectations. I'm not a fan of the receiver-in-ear form factor, but I don't hate these. They fit comfortably in my ears once I find the dome (included). The included charging case is similar to the one for AirPods. It is charged via a USB-C cable and displays the charge level for each side. Don't expect high-end features like noise cancellation or Bluetooth connection to your phone. These are basic hearing aids with simple controls that do a solid job of amplifying sound. I recommend these as budget hearing aids suitable for minor to moderate hearing impairment. Important information about hearing. Five years ago, I experienced sudden hearing loss (SNHL) in one ear, and, thinking it was a head cold, I waited nearly two weeks to get checked. That cost me a great deal of my hearing. If you lose hearing in either ear, don't wait to see it for it to clear up. Go to the ENT immediately. At $59.99 US at the time of this review, these hearing aids / amplifiers are certainly affordable. They are very small as is the charging / storage case. I had a bit of a challenge getting them in initially, but they fit securely and comfortably; note there is no specific left or right aid; either will fit in either ear. When removed from or returned to their case they turn on or off automatically. The only controls are the single volume dial on each aid; I had to remove the aids to change the volume. The sound / voices were clear but did not sound quite the same as the actual sounds / voices; not a huge difference but worth mentioning. There is a mild somewhat static sound to the noise cancelling; common on most of the aids I have tried and reviewed. The seller reports good battery statistics: about 3 hours to charge for about 20 hours of working time and 80 hours (4 times for both aids; 5 times for both aids per the included manual) of charge time via the case without being connected to any charging wires These aids also come with a cleaning brush, 3 pairs of differently sized ear domes, a USB C charging cord, and instructions. As I have been noting on all of my more resent reviews, I believe all hearing aids at any price should include Bluetooth capabilities for easier handling of calls and listening to music. That said, at this price level, to me these are a solid, basic pair of hearing aids / amplifiers that reproduce sounds clearly with very minor sound difference compared to sounds heard without the aids in place. ... show more

These are very basic sound amplifiers. They do fit comfortably in your ears after you install the best fitting ear cups. They do a good job of amplifying regular sound. I did find that after putting them in and adjusting the sound volume while in your ear they really squeal. Also it is somewhat awkward to adjust the volume while they are in your ear. The case and recharging function works very well. These are great if all you want is basic amplification of sound without any bells or whistles. ... show more

So this is a sound amplifier and not a custom hearing aid but I do have to say that I love how effective it is, how easy it is to use, the adjustability for a comfortable fit and how cost efficient it is. I Don't necessarily need a hearing aid yet but I do need a sound amplifier at times. I really appreciate how discreet this model is. I got it in the brown / beige coloring so it does blend pretty well and at first glance it kind of just looks like earbuds. It's small and compact and easy to charge. I can take it with me and put it in when I need to use it. I think it's a really great and effective alternative or hearing issues. They are not smart devices, and that's to be expected at the price so there's no Bluetooth or noise canceling but if you're in the middle of a meeting and you're having a hard time hearing what everyone is saying, it's easy to pop these in and amplify the sound so you can be a part of the conversation! ... show more

    • Small, compact, great quality. NO BATTERIES NEEDED!!
I really like that the holder is also the charger and that you don't need to be plugged in to recharge your hearing amplifiers. (Yes, obviously you'll need to plug in the base unit to give it a good charge... but this makes it easy to travel without worrying about cables and USB adapters!) This is a small amplifier... not a custom designed hearing aid (ie: actual hearing aids can be tweaked process and amplify the specific frequencies that someone can no longer hear)... and with that in mind, it amplifies ALL frequencies. But that's OKAY... it's truly a BLESSING to folks like myself whose quality of life is improved with a convenient and AFFORDABLE hearing amplifier. TIP: Like other affordable hearing amplifiers, these will "squeal" and "whistle" while you're putting them in your ear. THEREFORE... turn the volume down BEFORE putting them in your ears... then adjust to suit your needs. LIKES: I like the charging base and the various sized tips. DISLIKES: If someone has mobility issues, it may be difficult to put these in their own ears and it may be difficult to adjust the volume with the tiny knob. I think that these deserve a solid four stars. They are worth it and will bring value to you or a loved one. ... show more

    • Simple but functional - nothing fancy
The set I received wasn't color coded, but that doesn't seem too important because this is a simple set of hearing aids which are incapable of connecting to other audio sources, so there are no left-right positional concerns. The quality of construction seems decent, and once you get the right cup installed, the fitment is relatively comfortable. The only control available is volume, set individually per ear using a mechanical wheel on the hearing aid itself. You have to be careful (and it warns in the instructions) not to turn it up too high because it will feed back to itself and produce a sharp screeching (which I believe is expected for simpler hearing aids, so is not a fault of the item).
