I got these from my uncle because as time's gone on, we all noticed that his television and radio and anything he was listening to was getting turned up louder and louder and louder to the point where it could be disruptive to other people in the house. He wasn't open to going and getting the hearing aid because, well, older gentleman pride, right? So I got pleasant hopes that he would at least give them a try, and he did. And he's in love with them now. He wears them out everywhere and he's being all nosey and other people's conversations and stuff. And it's kind of funny, but we can tell that it's helped him out a lot because his level of understanding and the quality of his responses to people when in conversation has improved greatly. I had this for Mon, the one she was using started malfunctioning a few months ago but she just never got a new one nor mentioned anything. Soon I found out the one she had got a problem with so I got a new one for her. She told me the battery life was much longer compared to before and the sound quality is very good she can hear loud and clear. These work, but I prefer the in ear hearing aids. I find that these are big and make my ears hurt after a while. I don't remember ordering these but it shows up as an item for review. I wouldn't pay over $100 for them.
