These rechargeable hearing amplifiers come in a neat storage container and I like that you can charge these easily in the storage case. However, I these fall out of the ears constantly and make an incredibly loud screeching noise on every level except the first level. These are advertised as hearing aids, but I believe a more accurate description would be a hearing amplifier as these are not customize for your unique hearing needs. After charging, this product was really easy to use. When wearing them they feel really comfortable so wearing them should not be a problem. The charging case is really nice for when on the go. I wanted a backup set of hearing aids for my moderate to severe hearing loss (I typically use a Behind The Ear expensive brand-name set) and decided that I wasn’t going to pay thousands for features I can temporarily live without. I’ve tried less expensive Chinese made “in-the-canal” hearing amplifiers, but was physically hurt when I couldn’t get them out of my ears quick enough to avoid damaging feedback squeals. I thought I’d give these a try. Unfortunately, I was unable to adjust volume control button (necessary to increase volume level) without activating a painful and potentially damaging feedback squeal in either of these devices. Changing the size of the soft ear domes did nothing to remedy this problem. I also did not like that after the long 3-second press to turn the device on once it had been inserted in the ear invariably seemed to result in a short (but loud) feedback squeal. Cons: • Initial Expense around $139 USD (at time of writing) seems to be a poor value given performance I actually experienced • No wall charging adapter is provided • Unclear what device charge rate should be • Short (11-inch usable) USB-A to USB-C charging cable • Loud feedback squeal if ear domes don’t completely seal inside your ear canal or if microphone hole is covered while attempting to manipulate single, centered device control button • Uncertain resupply of soft silicone ear domes (2 sets of S,M,L size domes provided) • Devices do not communicate with each other – each must be separately set Pros: • U.S. Quarter Dollar shown for sizing comparison - devices are fairly small • Charging base doubles as lightweight carrying case (3.190-inch-long x 2.005-inch wide x 1.145-inches-thick • Case weighs 2.8-ounces with devices inside • Instructions are illustrated/understandable English Because impaired hearing assistance is so personal and subjective, all I can say in summary is that I would not personally buy another set of these devices as backups given my overall experience with them. I can hear people in conversations now which was my biggest problem.Besides that I don't have issues with using them around the house and don't need to say WHAT!
