I bought this specifically for cooking bacon in the oven. I've always used cooling racks in a cookie sheet before. Although it works wonderfully, the metal racks are time consuming to clean. I selected this product because it came with two sheets for a great price. I used for first time today by laying one rack in the cookie sheet. Like usual, I drained the grease after 9 minutes and found the amount was a lot less! Where did it go?? LOL! It wasn't a leaner batch of bacon so hmmm...After another 8 minutes, I drained again and again the amount was less. Cook time complete after I broiled for 2 minutes. I drained a final time and found less than normal grease again! Bacon was easy to remove - it didn't stick like it does to metal rack. Bacon was nice and crisp and had very little grease residue and family LOVED it. Washing the sheet was EASY!! I rinsed with hot water and used a brush to get into nooks and crannies. Because of it's flexibility, I was able to fit it easily in the sink and bend it this way and that. Very simple!! One of the best purchases I've made to make my life easier! ... show more
