The media could not be loaded. I originally placed an order for the Bobo M3 but saw its long delivery date and the battery issues like buzzing, low wattage that can't charge the Quest 3, and the low amount of actual battery life per pack. I opted for this instead. This alternative has been absolutely worth it in my opinion. I'm able to adjust this to be very comfy for hours of play. It can be tightened between my forehead and the back of my head, instead of pressing against my face. I also have prescription lens which allows me to get the face guard as close as possible as needed for an optimal field of view. The ratching mechanism works extremely well with the quick release and rotating tightening wheel for a quick adjustment, even mid-game without fuss. For longer game sessions, like playing HL:Alyx via PCVR, I had no comfort issues for extended 3-4hr sessions. For high intensity workout sessions, (like Supernatural Flow or Boxing "High" level 25+min workouts, Beat Saber gaming, boxing apps, Pickleball/Table Tennis/Golf apps), where you work up a sweat and move A LOT, I've had no issues so far. There can be a minimal amount of slipping if I move my head side to side very quickly but easily adjusted by tightening singlehandedly. The comfort padding are easily cleaned off with a rag and removable if needed. The battery charging gives me another 2+ hours easily although I haven't needed to use it all just yet. Advice: when the battery is connected, the Quest seems to just keep itself on and /or sipping power and so it'll eventually drain the Quest battery and the headset battery, (at the time that you really want to play! This is the Quest's fault or it's settings, etc.). I unplug it, keep both charged separately, keep it stored unplugged. I only plug it in when the Quest says I'm running out of battery while playing. I can easily plug it in on side while gaming and this battery WILL be able to keeping me playing AND slowly charge up the Quest while plugged in. No battery humming or noises and charging has never been an issue for me so far. The battery life indicator is very handy. The color changing lights look neat and in case you're wondering, they don't stay on while charging itself or charging the Quest. The padding is Velcro removable and versatile so I was able to tuck a set of wired earbuds and wires away from view but easily pulled down to use as needed. This saved $ and the hassle of buying and using those battery powered usb-c low latency gaming earbuds. These are "0" latency via the audio jack, and have an on-line mic. The only drawback I can speak of is the fact that when this is connected to the Quest, they no longer fit into the case I had from my previous Quest 2 and head strap configuration. If I disconnect this from the Quest 3, they will fit into my case so that works for me and my next trip! Good luck! I hope this helps!!! ... show more

    • Comfortable alternative to official Quest 3 headstrap with battery

I've had this for a little over a week now. Installation and adjustment of the head strap was easy, I was ready to go in under 5 minutes. The strap itself seems sturdy, and opens plenty wide enough for my big head (wear 7 1/2 hat size). The comfort provided by the cushions along with the extra arms to alleviate pressure points is a massive upgrade over the basic strap that came with the Quest 3. It feels much more balanced with the added battery pack acting as a counterweight to the headset. I don't believe power users will get the advertised 3-4 extra hours out of the included battery pack on the headset. From having both the headset and battery pack charged at 100%, I had completely depleted the head strap battery in roughly 2 hours and 12 minutes. Headset was at 85% charged when the head strap battery ran out of juice. That's another thing you'll need to watch out for, the head strap battery doesn't seem like it can keep the headset charged, so you'll most likely experience some slower battery drain on the headset. That being said, I was running the headset at 120hz, full brightness, and using high settings Virtual Desktop streaming for that entire period of time. I'm sure you can tweak some settings (resolution/brightness/refresh rate/streaming quality) to decrease battery consumption but that's not something I really care for. So I effectively doubled my headset runtime with this head strap. I haven't timed how long it takes to get the head strap battery back to 100% from 0% but I'm sure it's a slow process like it is for the quest 3 headset. Overall, I have zero complaints, this is a genuine bargain over the $130 "elite strap" that Meta wants for their own fancier head strap. ... show more

Honestly I’m not a huge review person. But wanted to on this one. I just got a new quest 3 first VR ever, so it took me a little bit to install this. When I completed the install I realized it was actually super simple. That’s just me not knowing. Never tried a different brand so can’t compare, but this is really comfortable and I just played 4 and half hours with friends and the battery just died with 100% left on the headset. I think battery life is great. I don’t see myself ever playing for more hours than that. So I have no issue with it. You can easily 6 hours with your headset 100% charged and this. So far I love the comfort of the headstrap. The original one on my quest 3 was horrible. This one is a lot better. Love the turn dial adjustment. Very simple to install. The battery is so so. It's managed to drain my quest a little slower but it does not charge it up while using. And my only complaint is the piece that attached to the headset out the box were slightly twisted/bent so they don't look nor feel the most reliable. Afraid the headset might fall off one day. But overall if your looking for something comfortable for a budget a must have. ... show more

Recently got this and have to say it makes such a big difference in comfort and obviously battery life. This feels like how the quest 3 was meant to be... The stock battery life just isn't enough because God forbid you forgot to charge it fully before a session and it'd be dead an hour into the session. Now I get 6-7 hours from full strap and Q3 charge! 8 can literally have 2 or 3 full gaming sessions before I have to even think about charging again. It's perfect! ... show more
