This was my third buy to replace the original head strap. This one is comfortable and holds the mask in place much better. Battery also works. Charging lights are inadequate. The RGB lights turn off by holding the button down for three seconds.

I was looking at several of these battery head straps for the Oculus 2. This one looked nicer than some of the others, so I took a chance even though it had less reviews. I am glad I got it, it fits on the Oculus very nicely and the quality feels very nice. Even the color and material match the headset perfectly. I like how it has the padded top strap vs just a strap with no padding. I don't know if the battery lasts 8hrs, but even I'd it lasted half of that it is worth the price. I am honestly amazed how nice the looks and feels. It is WAY more comfortable and easy to use that the strap that comes with the Oculus 2. I like the lights on the back, it looks cool, but can also be turned off if you don't want them on. It installs easily in just a few minutes and won't fall off like some other straps. This is a must have if you are using the original strap. Just buy it and you won't regret it. ... show more

OMGosh...I have a Kiwi brand head strap but I found that over time my batteries would deplete at about 45 minutes of highly active cycling/beat sabering, audiotripping, you name it so....I needed a battery solution. I read a lot and thought the ones that attach to the side of the headset didn't seem like they could withstand my constant jumping about sooooo....then I found this one! Not only do I love that I can ride or whatever for over an hour, I find the curved part that sits on the back of your head absolutely amazingly comfortable! This one really takes the pressure off of my face, whereas the Kiwi did not. I can angle it a bit higher to sit more towards the top of my head rather than directly behind and this makes all the difference in terms of weight distribution. I cannot comment on how long the entire battery lasts as I've never yet gone beyond about 90 minutes, and there is still life, but that is plenty for me. I cannot say enough good things about this item....I love it! ... show more
