I was looking for something to elevate one of my plants and get it closer to the light source and this drew my attention. I like a piece of furniture that can be used in more than one way. The color of the wood matches other shelves in my house, so that was nice. I didn't expect it to be good quality for this price, so I was surprised to see it didn't have any manufacturing flaws, the molding looked good, the wood looked good and it was also easy to put together. It looks good in different areas of the house, so whenever I feel like "redecorating", I can move it to another part of the house. I think 2 of these would even look good as bedside tables (depending on the height of your beds). It seems sturdy enough, but I would not stand on it, even though it claims to hold up to 500 lbs.     • Really unique looking and practical
I got this because it looks great, I needed a step stool, and a small place to sit is always welcome. It was really easy to put together, very easy. The parts seemed to be good quality and strong. After putting it together, I stood on it. Keep in mind I am 5'11", my feet are on the large size, but I am well below the 300 lb limit. I was still nervous! It was fine. It felt sturdy - I am scared of heights (even small heights) - and this felt really solid. And yes, I do need step stools sometimes despite being tall! Now the issue is where to put it.     • Sturdy little table. Easy to assemble. "Non-slip" is misleading. Too small for 2 adult feet.
It's great to know this is sturdy enough for 300 pounds. Very easy to assemble, and it was thoughtful to include a spare bolt. The surfaces of this are laquered and slippery -- it should not be called "non-slip." There are four adhesive rubbery circles to stick to the bottom, so maybe the bottom can be non-slip, but those adhesive pads are pretty thick, and it's possible to rock the stool if you step off-center because the stool is raised by those pads. The stool's top is small: one man's size 10.5 sneaker is slightly bigger than the top. It can't fit two adult feet. I used it but do not trust it as a stepstool -- I can barely stand on it. My spindle-back kitchen chair seems like a safer stepstool. I can still put a heavy vase on this, or use it for extra seating in a pinch, though it is low for a seat and the person will have to have a very small seat themselves. ... show more

I love this step stool - it was easy to assemble and gives me that little bit of lift around the house to reach my hanging plants so I can water and care for them. It's very sturdy, I just make sure to always wear shoes while using it so I don't slide off.

This small, subtle step stool is super functional and sure to match most common decor aesthetics. It was super easy to put together and came with all the needed hardware and tools. Took about 10 minutes total with 12 screws. This stool feels sturdy and durable to use as a step stool and looks great as an accent table or plant stand. No need to keep it in storage. I love this! Currently it is a plant stand for my giant monstera. However the fact I can use it as a step stool, foot stool, side table, the possibilities are endless. I am so happy with this piece. It really adds extra oomph to my living room

This little step stool is perfect for my needs. In a small house everything needs to assume multiple purposes. Most days it functions as a plant stand but when needed it transforms into a seat or step stool. Very sturdy!!. My size 10 women’s house shoes (my home footwear choice for winter) fit securely when using it as a step stool. The provided thick felt pads keep the stool from scratching the floor. This is a very cute, rustic table but I bought it as a step stool since that is how it was described. Very, very unsafe as a step stool - easily tips if not standing directly in the center of the top. Keeping it though for a couch side table.
