I would not risk standing on this. I bought it as a side table or plant stand. I don't think it would be strong enough to hold an adult, and I don't think I would even let my grandson use it for that either. Small round wooden step stool is sturdy and solid. Easy assembly with only four pieces to assemble. What looked like wooden dowel rods to me is actually all metal. This metal makes this a nice solid and sturdy stool. Im using this outside under my covered deck to put my frog collection on. It’s very nice and looks good. This could be used for more than a stool. I like the look of this, the round shape with the dowel looking rods makes this unusual and unique. I am glad i found this as it fits in perfectly where i have it placed.
